Wrong.....I just believe Catholic has what it takes this year. Taking nothing away from Russell, don't know too much about them. But they have to be very good to beat Belfry.

We are no loner one dimensional. Kamuf and Ijames have given us great yards on the ground. We can run right at you or around you. Kamuf had 167 on the ground last night. Thats one of the reasons in my previous post that I said we were so well balanced this year.

Where did I say they didn't deserve credit? I picked them to win last night!!! I think your just trying to start something....... I just see them as the most balanced all around team that Catholic has had in all the years I have been watching them. Thats what they all think....this is not the same D. We are #3 in 2A vs the run. We may give up a few big runs but they always tighten up when it counts.

There is no way Russell has seen an offense close to what the Aces have this year.

Good game by the Aces. Defense came up huge tonight. Kamuf ran great and Johnson and Holland had some great catches.

This is the year of the ACES and thats the bottom line.....

I agree, that will be the key for DeSales. I just don't see it happening though. I think they may get a couple of long drives and that will be it. Edge will find a way to make the proper adjustments to put this team in best position to win the game. Yes Butler did have those long drives last year, but that was long ago and with different personel. This D is ranked 3rd in 2A vs the run. GO ACES!!!!!!!!!! :thumb: Catholic 38 DeSales 24

I agree this Defense is very good but comparing it with 03 defense might be stretching it a bit....I do think our pass D is better this year but the run is not close IMO.

Bottom line Catholic has the complete package this year. They just need to go out and play their game and execute.

DeSales has 2 hour trip to Owensboro.

Don't know much about Corbin this year, but I know they had a down year with a record of 5-5. It took DeSales 3 ot's to get the victory. If Catholic brings their game, we will be heading to the pizza box next week.

If your talking about AP, Catholic was #2 at the end of season and I believe DeSales was #6.

The more I have been thinking about it the more I agree with it. It was something that wasn't expected by the D, they just thought Woody was out there trying to draw them offsides.

Anyone have any idea what type of D DeSales runs?
