Field Of Dreams hands down

He's a nice player. Seen him on film, but when NCC played Somerset i believe that he had a leg injury. Outstanding player when i watched game films. He seemed to be in on every play in some way.

Why go to UK and wait, when you could go to Eastern or even Western and produce in your first year? I wish him luck in whatever he does in college.

Spencer Perrin from Danville can leap, he is pretty tall but factor that in with his Vertical leap..and that kid can pull of some sick dunks..
-
Somerset's Ray Ray Norman scored his 1,000th point in the third quarter of the game last night against Wayne County. Nathan Holton should be pretty close to this milestone also.

I will predict a 6-4 Mark and a birth in the playoffs

Good win for the Jumpers.
Were the Perkins kids the only two who fouled-out?
Yes, i dont recall anyone else being in any serious foul trouble.
-
Good physical game between two cross town rivals. John and Ty Perkins both fouled out of the game. Ty fouled out with about 2 minutes left in regulation and John Fouled out early into the overtime period. Corey Price led the Jumpers with 16 points while Ben Meeks had 19 for the Maroons. Looking foward to a possible district championship showdown at Casey Co.

When could we expect to see this possibly put into effect? Is there a definate time table on when this could happen?

I'm going with Somerset by 5 in the Championship game vs. Pulaski

Thanks for the info :thumb: It is greatly appritiated, hopefully we can come away with a win tomorrow in Mcbriar Arena!!

As far as defense goes, do they like to run man or zone? Is their offensive style similar to that of Southwesterns? They seem to spread the floor alot and live by the three ball.
-
I dont think shs will be as tough.......they dont have any talent like a scottie newell ray norman or matt salmons any more.

Somerset plays Beth Haven in the first round of the All A Classic and I was just wondering if anyone could provide me with any information on this team. Such as Player abilities, team style, quality wins, and other information of this type. I would greatly appritiate it!

Somerset has been a school, that has excelled in all 3 sports over the years and I'm sure the cooperation from each head coach, is key to getting this done.
If more schools can work together, communicate and understand the best interest of the student-athlete is the priority and not their individual sport....Baseball, spring Football and summer Football can co-exist to the benefit of ALL..... :thumb:
The school system is in the process of setting up an indoor baseball facility that will be equipped with pitching machines, batting cages, pitchers mounds, and alot more for the baseball AND softball team to use. This project should be completed by the start of the baseball season. This will take away from the problem of more than one sports accessing the facilitys of another sport

Working together my friend is the key, as you mentioned and hopefully it happens at every school.
As for the Baseball not being left out for year round, here is my question:
Football - gets spring practice, school facilities, equipment and coaches.
Basketball - gets summer camps, school facilities, equipment and coaches.
Baseball - are the coaches allowed to use the school facilities, equipment and coaches out of season like Football and Basketball?....
We are allowed to access the football fieldhouse so we can use the batting cages that are inside to hit. We are also able to pitch inside the fieldhouse.

What happens when his ace pitcher breaks his arm in a spring football drill?
Nathan Bray didnt play football

There would be some sort of appeal process for an athlete to have their eligibility restored or the provisions waived.
Thanks for the Info, I dont really follow this into great detail, even though my superintendant is a big part of it.

I heard the judge will send 2 proposals to the BOC and the BOC will have the delegate’s vote on which one they want
1. Two-year suspension from all sports if a kid comes from a “non-feeder school, which includes the out of state kids.
2. One-year suspension from varsity only for the same infraction. (Which to me is the same as we got now if a kid transfer from school to school)
What if a kid has no say in it and has to move. Like a Divorce or something like that.. would he still recieve a suspension? Or would he have to go through the KHSAA and see what they say about it?

At Somerset, Coach Grundy will allow the football players to attend the spring practices and he will also try his best to schedule the baseball practices around the spring football practices.

What about Somerset? Everyone forgets how good they are when it comes to class a?

Jeremy Toohey from Somerset has a lethal bat and a great arm for a young kid. Played quite a bit last year on the JV team that only lost one game.
