I can't believe what I'm reading. Jake won't succeed at XU because he uses his size too much & bullies defenders? Hopefully he spends the offseason working on his perimeter game so he can please the Old Sports Dad. I doubt it, but you never know.

Pretty easy, Co-Mr. Basketball, other states have done it.
When was the last time Kentucky named Co-Mr. Basketball?

Happy birthday MTGL!

How many times have you watched both players this year?
Good question, Pops. What do ya say, @theguru?

Watch a Cincinnati game for an extended period and see how near impossible it is..
Preach!

I know many do not pay attention to him because he is in Utah, but Rodney Hood is frigging good. He always drops 25+ against Minnesota.
I am in the camp that this greatly improves the Cavs roster. IT is a shell of himself and a distraction. He had a good season and a half and many thought he was an NBA superstar.
Rodney Hood is talented but he can't stay on the court due to injuries. High upside, though.

I've heard that some airports don't allow Ubers, at least for picking up from the airport. Wonder if that has changed or if CVG has just always allowed it.
CVG allows Ubers to pick up & drop off now. Previously, Ubers were allowed to drop off at the airport but weren't allowed to pick up from the airport. I think that has been resolved for a year or two.

I just looked it up and an Uber from CVG to my house would be $124 one way. No thanks, I can drive for that.
You must either live very far away - like over an hour - or you did something wrong. I just checked fares and an Uber from Cincinnati to Pazzo's in Lexington costs $99.46.

He was averaging 25.2 points, 12.9 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.6 steals, 1.6 blocks and a whopping 5.0 turnovers per game this season.

Cousin tore his knee up and is out for the season.
Not quite. It's an Achilles injury.

15 straight losses? What has happened to Shelby County's program?
-
Great updates @Realreason, sounds like a fantastic game.

I hope Boogie can bounce back from the surgery. Brutal injury and it can be tougher on guys that size.
Didn't Elton Brand have a similar injury & surgery years ago? My recollection is that he never quite bounced back from it.

Wow, absolutely hate to hear this. The Pelicans are one of the teams I was most excited to follow as the playoff scenario unfolds.
-
South played without three starters, including leading scorer and 8th region Player of the Year candidate Devin Young, a 6'6" senior guard, who leads the team in scoring at 21 ppg. Luke Morrison is a 6'4" sophomore forward who averages 15 ppg (second-best on the team). Jason King is a sophomore guard.
All three are starters.
Wow, that's a lot to overcome. Why are these 3 players out? Is it long term?

I think Chatwood to Chicago is a signing that flew under the radar. Chatwood's #'s outside of Coors have been strong.

Get a room in Goodlettsville and drive or catch an Uber to downtown. All roads should lead you to The Stage. Trust me.
PS: if you're taking your women, no roads should lead to The Stage.
That was laugh out loud funny @Wireman!

Happy birthday!

Absolutely incredible game!

Erika Eleniak, Alexandra Paul, and Angie Harmon are the three I remember most.
Moreso than Pam Anderson? That's shocking.
-
Honestly, as I said in the prediction thread, I think UK fans were completely misreading their chances heading into this game.
Not the least bit shocked.
I am not surprised Kentucky lost, but I am surprised by the margin of defeat.

I've had a 6 pack of the Lazer Snake in my fridge for a couple weeks but haven't cracked one open yet.

3 Floyds is fantastic although I've become more of a Fat Head type of guy.

I'm still trying to figure out who is who.

Congrats to Beechwood on a fine season. They had a couple tough losses which put them in the unenviable position of playing CCH in the 1st round. It sounds like they have a lot of young talent in the program & hopefully they will continue to build on their successes from this year.
