Allegedly the SK AD insisted that the Grant players and staff leave through an alternative exit after the game due to safety concerns. Can anyone substantiate this?

This will be the first Kentucky high school basketball game that I’ve attended since 2009. I’ve been live-streaming games since I live out of state, but I happen to be in town for this game. Very much looking forward to a highly competitive game and energetic atmosphere.

This is partially my own inside joke. It’s not a critique of the county. I have generations of relatives who are from there and at least 80 or so currently residing. I’m one of the few who left, but I visit often.

Does anyone have stats?

As someone who was born and raised in GC, but “escaped” — as I like to say — I can say with certainty that the fans relish comments like this, especially when they are said by those from Boone or Kenton, which are much wealthier and affluent communities than their less fortunate southern neighbors. I think they think there is a sense of entitlement over them. But I digress ?

What happened beyond that? Genuinely asking since it wasn’t specified.

I like seeing Grant get the attention they’ve earned. Although they are ranked below Collins in the BGP top 20 ranking.
