I know Hoban is loaded, but FD played like this was their first ever varsity game. I'll believe everyone that Trinity's D is legit and go with the Rocks.

I wonder if that could be because a lot of returning players were rotational pieces. A lot guys are juniors now from that team. No excuse but that’s a huge difference then playing majority of the snaps and seeing a monster your first game like Hoban.

He is not really from here, he was just  passing through as he has at a few other places.  Great player. I am hearing a few kids from GRC went with him? Will they be ruled eligible?

Seeing that he played in the LCA scrimmage until further notice he’s eligible.

Bengals, Gators, Frankfort middle, Elkhorn middle, then never done anything with the Flyers, He never made it a single off season event or weight session. So I would not say he was really from here one year at EMS.  Then went to GRC, now Station. He brings a crew with him when he moves and most those kids can play not sure if they still are with him or not.

He never played for Franklin county. But he is from Frankfort. Whole family momma and daddy from Frankfort. All of the Flyers staff and Team have been watching, playing with or against him since the Bengals. As well as some flyers are blood family. It’s more then just passing through.

Many of the private schools in Louisville have been taking calls today from disgruntled parents wanting better for their kids.

Just an abomination what JCPS has become. Not for many of the teachers but the way it is run. Just ineptitude at its highest level.

This is huge. Don’t know how fast some can pull this off for football season. But basketball season may of just got more interesting.

Wild that buses to school impacts a district's ability to allow their kids to participate in athletics. (They haven't had buses all summer).

I'd be furious if I was a JCPS coach right now.

Can’t be mad. Everyone had known for years 1 bus stop may have 10 kids on it with 6 probably all going to different schools. Kids are getting on 3-4 buses crossing different neighborhoods. And kids are way more reckless and wilder so as a bus monitor and driver no telling how many fights you’re breaking up daily. That $21 a hour not worth it at all.

He rushed for 1001 yds for GRC so definitely big pick up for Station.

True game changer. Looking forward to seeing what he does against Franklin County which he’s from and has a lot friends playing on that team from their 8th grade championship. As well as Bowling Green who he killed in that 8th grade championship game.

  7. I like his sons game a lot. Kid plays with a lot of energy that you can’t teach. IMO hopefully Coach brown will actually use his assistants this year and actually coach basketball instead just letting them go out there and play pick up. They made a run in state mostly because of a weaker region and having football players being physical with against basketball players in the state tournament. Watching a lot of their games against competition this year including the Warren Central game this team was not the hype even with Jasper.

I'm not saying one way or the other about teaching duties, but if it is just non-renewal that has to be done by April 30th. If it was just done in mid-June there would definitely have to be grounds to do that. As far as coaching the principal can do that at about anytime. I would say there is more to this that will come out.

Def agree with that cause this was right before the Shelby county tourney.

He was 20-38 after just two seasons.

20-38 with most players from bad teams previously with a lot of bad habits he was starting to change.  The younger guys on the freshman and JV levels was buying into what he was teaching. As well as Coach Moore was also building the basketball program back up to a standard and culture of when Coach Chalk was there of not playing lower level competition and back to the bigger name teams in the state and region. As well as To get guys to work on their craft more, take pride in wearing the name on the jersey. Something that had gotten away from FC basketball over the years. This was more than just some job to Coach Moore and I’m hoping they getting someone who has as much pride in FC and really cares about the program to replace him.

  10. The Field house and football field is sad. Along with the practice equipment. I will never underestimate how you have all these great alumni and no is willing to donate to help the football team that was way long overdue. Make matters worse the basketball gym got one the BEST makeovers in the entire state meanwhile the football team got absolutely nothing.
