Mason County was without 3 year starter and 6th all time leading scorer in Royals history Terrell Henry. Royals were also down 3 of their main bench players. Mason county still had their chances but couldn’t get it done. Injury bug hitting all at once but should be healthy come district tournament time.

Big minutes from those guys tonight! Less than a week of practice and #2 Terrell Henry played all 32 minutes, #5 KG Walton played 25 minutes and sat the last 4 minutes after fouling out. Statement win for the Royals!

Number 3 in the scrimmage is not the same number 3 on the roster. No football players who play varsity basketball traveled to Russell. Good luck to the Devils this year!

Mason County was without all football players in last nights scrimmage. Mason county was down 4 of their top 6 guys and another one who could play meaningful minutes. Not trying to take anything away from Russell as they will be a tough team to beat in the 16th.
