  1. Completely agree, having to face Boyle or Lex Cath in the first round of the playoffs probably didn’t help the number of players either.
  2. Moving up to 5A in that district isn’t going to make this job any more appealing to anyone. This seems to be a tough situation for someone to walk into.
  3. Lol I do remember that fella. I believe the biggest thing that holds Spencer back in district play is their lack of size at most positions. The few times I have seen them play they seem very small compared to the better teams.
  4. Correct, but before Woodford arrived you still had to deal with Anderson county.
  5. Very true, @ConverseAllStar said it best, I believe Spencer most years lacks size and depth to really compete year in and year out with the traditional powers.
  6. It is very simple, you are in a district with Collins, Anderson, and Woodford. So no matter what your first round game is going to be tough. Also, most if not every year Collins and Woodford are going to be more talented. Just the luck of the draw, if they were in almost any other district they would have more region tournament appearances to show. Just my opinion.
  7. I think this game is pretty even, but if Spencer does not have the Cardwell kid I am leaning with the Flyers in this one.
