Well I wasn't there but McCracken hasn't kicked many if any field goals this year cost them the game or so it seems.

Tilghman should win this game, 28-7.

Owensboro will win this game 35-14.

McCracken wins 28-7.

McCracken County had a big kickoff return and 2-3 big passes for 50-60 yards none of which produced any points. Also had a wide open dropped pass at the goal line. Finally scored after I left to beat the crowd which was the biggest of the year I thought as they honored the Senior Football players as well as crown the Homecoming Queen and King. The Band and a large chorus performed before and after the game. All the youth football program was in attendance and ran out with the Varsity at the start of the game. That always brings out the families and grandma and grandpa. Henderson got a little chippy at the end with couple onside kicks with a running clock then took the knee to run out the clock. I was expecting a complete beatdown and score similar to what they did to Daviess County, doubt they felt sorry for us as the series is something like 7 0f 11 McCracken Mustangs.

When a running back is averaging 10 yards are better give him the ball and control the game. Control your emotions, avoid the dumb penalties. You just might win the State Championship. Don't think beating McCracken County is the most important game of the year.

Looking at comparison scores you would think Hendo blows them out, but got to give Mccracken credit they have improved.  Think Mccracken give them a pretty good fight, but still lose by about 20.

They have played better, and the South Warren game was closer than the score.

That will not happen this year.

Home Coming and all that entails. Henderson most likely will win but they will be getting Home late.

Wasn't this game close early on? Henderson may score a 100 against McCracken.

My observation was how long Union County had possession of the football, not allowing PT more snaps. Union County also made some incredible catches on pass plays with lots of traffic around the catch to keep drives going. Tough loss for the Tornado.

Sad thing about Paducah Tilghman is the overall fan support, other than the game with McCracken which is usually a packed house at both venues and the Mayfield game which doesn't draw in Paducah like it once did very few fans when they play anyone else. 

Trying to groom a Mister Football would be my guess.

Ballard Memorial is too big to be little and too little to be big. They have to play it's a district game. Every athlete that wants to play football in Carlise County, and Hickman County needs to transfer to Ballard Memorial.

Tilghman Pride you got any photos of the gym?

Besides McCracken. Graves, Marshall there's Murray and Paducah Tilghman in the 1st region mix. PT has refurbished their gym and I was told it looked great.

McCracken was hanging around most of the game, just couldn't quite get it done, lots of flags. South's running game was the difference by QB as well as RB's.

South Warren travels west to take on the Mustangs of McCracken County. 

South comes off a very tough game last week falling in a close rivalry game 28-24 to Bowling Green.  The Spartans earned a 10-7 halftime lead.  The lead would chance hands a total of 5 times and ultimately South was not able to get a final defensive stand nor mount a final drive as the clock ran out.

QB Bryce Button played really well as did RB Jimmy Sales for the Spartans. 

McCracken County also comes off a tough district road loss falling 48-20 vs Daviess County.

This will be only the second time these 2 have played.  McCracken County traveled to South last year and felt the full force of the 2021 Spartan Championship defense in only gaining 58 yards on the night in route to a decisive 41-0 Spartan victory.  While I think the outcome of this one to be in a similar ballpark, I do think McCracken County has an opportunity to gain more yards than last year. 

I would hope so on the yardage.

PT should win, but without rider that really hurts. Tilghman has definitely played a harder schedule. I assume Trigg has some great speed which can win games.

Who was injured for PT?

2 people think Apollo wins, 3 people think McCracken will win. Hope some fans show up for game WPSDTV Local 6 will be there for High School game of the week in our area.

Several players have jumped ship and transferred to Graves County, I was told.

Henderson will be a big test for PT. 21-7 Henderson County.

Can McCracken win another District game? I say yes.

PT has a struggling quarterback and a coaching staff who seems to put him in position to fail. I don't get it. They can fight it all they want, this teams best chance is to pound the football. They have a very capable offensive line and plenty of backs to get the job done, so it only makes sense to come out and throw every down week after week. The time of possession in the games is laughable because of it. 

I was afraid this season could end up like last year, they just better hope they can put a gameplan together by playoff time. 

Well, maybe the team has to allow the QB to throw the ball as compensation for all the new amenities on PT's New Home field?
