If Trinity wins 6A everybody else should quit playing football.

The RPI still puts Mayfield in 1st place in the District playoffs at this point next weeks game could change it?
-
Had a chance couldn't make the plays.
-
That is unreal to even be close enough for a fumble to be the difference.

What say you football fans?

Murray has the same chance to win as McCracken County has to win the 1st District 6A.

Good game Graves County Eagles.
-
Sure hope the Eagles get the win.

They could possibly use McCracken county's field its turf. McCracken has a bye week.

It's almost unbelievable how bad McCracken County is this year.

I agree on the Middle School football program trying to have one team from 3 schools seems complicated.
-
Evidently numbers don't matter at times as Daviess County appeared to have less than 25 players this past Friday night against McCracken County.
-
Other than losing all but one game, who's talking and what are the issues?
-
Sad to say but McCracken County looks to finish 4th in the District and win no more than 2 games. Before the season started I really thought they would be 7-3 or 8-2.
-
McCracken is due to have a good game at some point, hopefully it is tonight, if so that would shake up the playoffs.
-
Does McCracken County have any chance of winning?

Again McCracken offensively played well enough o win but turnovers killed them. Statistics don't tell the score in this one as McCracken had lots of yards.
-
May not be a running clock, but Mayfield wins gong away way way way.

In the old days before McCracken county even had football Augusta Tilghman High School now Paducah Tilghman had 3 Junior High Schools all with football teams. They fed Tilghman 80-100 sophomore players every year that had a lot of game experience. The population of Paducah started dropping and eventually they consolidated to one middle school in Paducah and then Tilghman became a 9-12 Highschool. The county schools started football programs and Heath was the only one to ever win a state Championship. Before McCracken County built the new McCracken High School, Lone Oak had Jack Haskin led teams made the State Championship 2 times but lost both times. McCracken County has the fan base, facilities and the resources to win but still have not had a steady stream of more than 3-4 outstanding Football players. Lots of good players but not D1 talent like Louisville, Lexington etc. Trying to bring 3 middle schools together every day to practice has to be a night mare, so I agree that has hurt County football. I am a football fan and I root for Tilghman and McCracken County. Things will get better in time for both schools I hope in Football.
