JJ Richardson 6-2 150 lbs (Meade Co) 6A
45 tackles 5 interceptions
Junior Season - JJ Richardson highlights - Hudl
Bryce Yates 6-0 170 lb (Manual) 6A

Austin Oppel- Meade Co
Austin averaged 7 yards per carry and had over 1000 yards rushing in 8 games. He also had double digit touchdowns.
-
Add Cole Knoop, Meade Co. 6-3 275
I've coached the #9 kid on this list (who's really good) and Cole is as good as John.

Justice Thompson- Ballard

Hardin Co Preps is correct. If you follow middle school, Freshman, JV football you know what is coming as far as talent, numbers, etc. North Hardin will be really good this year but will start to fall off a little. Central Hardin has been strong the last 4 years on the other levels and John has really been down. I think it will really show this year. That's just my opinion. It seems John is getting a good coach and that counts for something but they just don't have the talent.

Yay, more wing T on our schedule. lol.

I used Shively for a while but honestly I always felt like my business wasn't a priority to them. I ran travel teams for years but had to find an alternative because service was so poor.

Looks like Preston it is. Man, I've coached Freshman football the last few yrs and John Hardin has had maybe the worst team on our schedule every year. Central Hardin is getting all those kids around there. It's hard to believe he's leaving FS for John. I'd also guess maybe FS is on a downward trend?

RB Jeremiah Belton returns. He's really good.

Desales will be down a little next year.

Can one person's vote get a kid on the team?
-
And she’s hit 17-30 3 pointers the last 2 games.

Toughest kid I have ever seen or played with, probably average 20 tackles a game 4th-7th grade, severely dislocated his hip in a 7th grade football game. Never played another down the rest of his life.
My son broke his ankle a couple years ago and was out 8 months. He also cracked a bone in his shoulder/arm and was only out 7 weeks, so who knows. His ankle break was REALLY bad though.

I'd like to hear AvoidLloyd's opinion on this final after his comments on the game thread. Are/were you impressed with Rocks ability to score against the NH defense you were high on?
Very impressed. I can’t believe Trinity was able to move the ball like they did.
-
North’s defense is REAL. Trinity won’t be able to run the ball. I look for the game to be close for a while but North just makes too many mistakes. 7-0 at half. 28-7 final.

Is there some place you can view the all district selections?
Nate Bryan on twitter posted them.

I don't think Mercer County belongs in a Louisville football district, but I was impressed at the GLFCA meeting. They were organized and knew what they wanted to get done. The process for selecting all district teams was straight forward and I am glad our kids got that recognition.
Did all the coaches vote or just coaches in that particular district vote? Did they use stats? I was happy with how the voting ended up and who made the teams in our district. Not many complaints at all.

Both should have many more in my personal opinion.
If Austin Peay lands those two they just got absolute STEALS.
Yeah, Meaty (#87) is as good as any defensive player in Kentucky. He could play high level college football at a bunch of positions.
-
Heard from a knowledgeable DeSales fan that the Colts have 4 kids with D1 offers.
D. Scott and D. Watkins both have offers from Austin Peay.
-
North Hardin Qb leaves game with leg injury.
-
Desales is a little weak at 1 of their 2 corner spots. That's about as far as it goes for weaknesses on their defense. They had 3 of their 4 defensive lineman selected 1st team all district. Those for really get after it up front. I wouldn't worry about them not being able to cover someone. They get a lot of pressure up front. Desales will beat Bardstown.

The dawgs will be ready! Chance to prove themselves. Not well versed on teams in Owensboro area but how good are the teams that they have played?
Never say never but honestly Fairdale doesn't stand a chance vs Owensboro. Fairdale hasn't played anyone. Owensboro is really good, especially defensively. If Fairdale scores more than once I'll be surprised.
Owensboro 49
Fairdale 0
North Hardin junior (2021) RB La'Vell Wright down to his final 6

Lavell is a great kid. I coached him from 8 yrs old to high school. I know Lavell wants to play right away so that will probably be one of his major factors when choosing.
