The 4 Sr Linebackers have really been the building blocks to this young defense. This continues and the offense is gaining steam. The special teams is getting older by the week. 33-6 Breds

NCC traveled to Verona last night. A tale of 2 halves. NCC defense holds WV to 37 total yards on the night. NCC defensive Sr LB Kwintin Gilliam got the Breds first score on a safety in the first quarter. Big defensive plays by Sr Luke Brockman along with a a fumble recovery. Nick Rouse with a pick stopped another defensive series. NCC came out the 2nd half focused on running the ball. That opened up a nice throw from Smith to a wide open Runion for a 40+ TD. The 4th quarter was controlled by NCC defense and NCC running the ball with Demetric Welch with 2 rushing TDs on the night. NCC vs Holy Cross next Friday night at Newport.

I think NCC offense starts rolling this week. NCC by 3 TDs.

Roger Bacon was pretty good. RB has Big 10 offers. QB has D1 offers. They are well coached. NCC defense played well. Special teams was the big issue for NCC last night. 2 Kick off returns for TDs. Punt returns gave RB great field position all night. NCC is a young team, Special teams are even younger. This will get fixed. I see NCC going on a good run for the next 6 weeks.
