Aaron Bradshaw is expected to miss the start of the season with a Broken Foot which will require surgery.
How did that happen?

I got gas in Frankfort, Ky. last Friday for 2.99, Lawrenceburg, Ky. yesterday for 3.13.

2 Parter.
1) What are your EDLC predictions for Average, HR, RBI, SB (feel free to add other metrics) at the end of the season?
2) What does a good year for EDLC look like?
I'm thinking if he can hit upward of 285 everything else will fall in line. That would be a successful year.

I hear this all the time, and don’t find either to be the norm. Adults are just as likely to make these mistakes as kids. Screwed up orders are more a result of a bad establishment, and aren’t always a result of the “kid” taking your order.
Well then, go inside and you can stand at the counter and was for yourself.

FACTS! However my point was more to the fact that schools make it nearly impossible to fail now. I work in one everyday and have seen this firsthand.
Exactly what I was saying.

From conversations I've had, Newport has looked really good this summer with the addition of the Taft transfer PG, DJ Jackson. The biggest question mark is how they replace Quez Miller.
Tay Kinney is capable of averaging 20+ a night but I'm not sure that's what Snapp wants or needs out of him for Newport to be successful this year.
Anderson and Turner will have to step forward.

Cooper has plenty of talent to beat both, if they stay healthy.
I like Newport's starting 5 and they have the best player in the region but Cooper is right there with them and probably has better depth top to bottom.
I like your thought process. Also, can Newport's youth handle the pressure of having the target on their backs this year?
I hope so, but time will tell.

Ryle just hired a really good assistant coach Ty Simpson.
Is that enough to put Ryle over the top?

Indiana girls and boys won on Saturday.

I think a kid being able to have continuous academic eligibility issues given todays standards speaks volumes.
Really, do you get out much? Just two examples, they can't make change and they can't fill an order at the drive thru correctly.

I to am hearing eligibility is an issue, heard this is the kids 4th or 5th school. And that grades aren’t the greatest either!
What's the problem if you're going by todays standards?

It will be easy to get out of a contract when you can’t field a varsity team.
Bracken will be fine, pretty sure Bracken County is bigger than the Reed trio. LOL

Ky. jumped out 18 to 2, led game 12 to 16 all the way until the 4 minute mark and In. took a 1 pt. lead, their first lead of the game. Ky. went up 1 and then In. went up 1 for their second and final lead, Ky. hit freebies to seal the win.
Moore was voted MVP of the game, big time performance.
The Ky. girls also won.

Big loss, but it seemed like the writing was on the wall with this one.
Not sure how people can keep this stuff straight. So convoluted.
Yep, what a mess.

Enjoy the ride, we as Reds fans always seem to be waiting on the other shoe to fall. I'm done with that. I'm going to enjoy this run if it last a week, a month, a season or a career.
Sports are supposed to be fun and I'm tired of the constant pessimism around my favorite teams from their fans.
Go EDLC! Go Reds!!!
Yeah, they're on a big run, 28 and 33.

The ironic part is, Augusta has been using Bracken County’s gym this summer while their gym floor is being renovated. So, Augusta’s boys basketball team is practicing in Bracken’s gym, while Bracken’s boys are not.
I was thinking Augusta was breaking ground on a new gym.

So Augusta can be part of the circus? There may be viable reasons for Augusta to become part of the Bracken County school system but because Bracken can't field a basketball team due to antics of one family is not a good reason.
Augusta was part of the circus act a few years back with Coach Hinson vaulting between Augusta and Bracken County. Did you forget that act?

From the article:
The final straw came this summer. Bracken County had to cancel their summer basketball games due to lack of players. They only had a handful of players showing up to summer practices and could not get a consistent five to guarantee a summer team. They were also going to struggle to field at JV team next year.
This is just another reason that Bracken and Augusta should go together.

Yes, both the Reed boys will be at Mason County, that is factual.

Does Coach Brangers get the call up or does someone from the outside with experience step in? I’d look out for Sam Elsbernd or John Michael Reitz to take a stab.
This job will be a tough one to succeed at, regardless of who gets it. I just don't see too many outside people applying.
