I always thought that I'd keep an idol to myself and not tell anyone, hopefully hang on to it until I was further along. A couple years ago when everyone and their brother was finding idols, my mindset changed a little on that. I think I'd play it the first time I felt even remotely uncomfortable.

Which the way things go nowadays on survivor, you better play it when you can. How many have gotten too comfy and left with an idol in their pocket.

Seems to me that the way blindsides fly out, if I had an idol, I would play it every tribal I’m at. Then I go out to find the next one the next day. I know sooner or later I would be targeted just for that reason though.

He drives me nuts, also. He has the knowledge, no doubt, but the cliches and stuff are awful. He will say something like "Dre just said to Julio, no way you are catching that, man, stay out of my area" That is ridiculous, I have no desire to listen to some made up thing he thinks the player is thinking. Just say something like, Dre was in great position and made an excellent play on the ball.

When that injury first happened, Dave Lapham said that is one of the worst injuries that can happen to an offensive lineman. Big men in football and basketball have had their careers end early with injuries to their feet. Better to err way on the side of caution with returning from that injury.

Dave Lapham... this guy drives me nuts. I’ll listen to the game while I mow at my moms and sometimes I want to just turn it off when he gets on a roll. I wish he would realize that silence is golden and he doesn’t have to fill every microsecond of his time with gab. Just say it once and let hoard move on dude. I like his knowledge, but I don’t need to hear the same thing 3 times in between plays.
