Agree that the whistle was swallowed for both teams. That's not my argument. For you though, as an official, let the exact same thing go all game and then call it at that point in the game, you're better off letting it go. I know that is something that you'll agree with.

Never said that. If you let that kind of contact happen all game without a foul, then you don't make that call that has an impact on the game.

Two very well coached teams and two groups of young men who play extremely hard! Wish the official would have not had an impact on the outcome but that's part of the game. Officials are human too and get caught up in the excitement. I can promise you one thing, there isn't a district winner who is going to leave the draw happy this morning.
