  1. I have two men that taught me a lot that were a huge influence in my life ... Larry Allison was one .. he taught me to believe in my abilities and to respect the game of baseball .. he always knew how to challenge you to get it out of you ... he even took the time to restring my son's glove before last season ... . Coach Billy Keene Anderson was the other ... he coached me in baseball and basketball ... the man was still throwing batting practice every day until he was probly 60 ... also helped him in his tobacco and cattle after school alot ... but two great men in my life that I have a lot of memories with and enjoy the heck out of getting to talk to them when I see them ... utmost respect for both

  2. Congrats to ALL the guys that made the all region teams and honorable mention ... they are all deserving ... I hate when these teams are announced and there is always posters saying that this kid should not have made but this kid should have ... to all the homers out there that cuts one kid down to lobby for another kid , be happy for all of them that did make it ... lets face it there are always kids left off that maybe should get on there .... that's not gonna change ... a lot of those kids get on here and read these posts and see somebody said that they didn't deserve it ... pretty hurtful to those kids that are tickled to death to be VOTED on ... just wondering if you were a parent of one of these deserving players , how would you feel about it then ... just saying , don't cut on them , be happy for them !!!!

  3. It is what it is guys on the transfers ... been on both sides of that ... we have lost several athletes to transfer ... kids that were 3 sport athletes at our small school ... kids that would have made a difference for our teams in multiple sports ... and we have had a few kids transfer in that ended up being good role players at our school , not really difference makers but really good kids ... that being said , would I like for a couple stud athletes , boy or girl , to transfer in here ?? You bet I would and anyone on here would too for THEIR programs ... I admit the bigger schools have the better opportunities to get the transfers ... I pretty much doubt any school , small or large, is gonna turn any transfer down but it is ultimately up to Khsaa!!! I am not gonna be a hypocrite and say transfer is bad and then lobby for a kid to transfer to our school ... not gonna do it and nobody else is either that posts in here ... small schools have fought this for years and now that it is affecting larger schools it is an issue .... parents are gonna do what is best for their children even if it does hurts some feelings ... it's not always easy standing on the outside looking in but you can't tell me you wouldn't stand on the inside and look out either .. just my thoughts on the subject ...

  4. I commend you Coach Adler for trying to figure it out ... sounds like your heart is in the right place .... I have a son that is a sophomore and would like to play at the next level so we are also trying to figure it out ... and it's tough at a small 1A school to get noticed if you have some talent ... I agree with a lot of the other posts have said with film and camps ... the more the better it sounds like ... hudl is a really nice tool for film whether it be for recruiting or scouting.... like I have always said it only takes one pair of eyes to see you to see your talents ... good luck to you Coach and your future teams at Logan County High School ...

  5. Listened to Mustang radio a few games last year ... caught the brossart / Nicholas co football the next day just to see what he said about our guys and he did a good a good job of talking about our boys and our team even though he is a brossart guy , he still mixed in a lot of compliments for both teams and their efforts ... sorry about the cowbells guys , our mothers love ringing those damn things !!! Keep up the good work ...
