Once again another great defensive effort from Pulaski........Ridiculous!!!
-
Officials sucked for both teams!!!!!
-
Kunkel also had a great game with 21 points. He just lets the game come to him. Ultimate team player.
-
Dunbar might stay close for a while, but Cov Cath wins by 12+
-
Cov Cath will have no problem with Dunbar. They are just a one man show with Hollingsworth. He is a nice player but he does not have enough help.

Hope the Camels are all feeling better when the Jags visit them this Friday.

Can't win Championships being a one man show team.

All games except district games are only glorified scrimmages. You learn from them and move on just hoping that you are playing your best come tournament time.

Happy Anniversary!!!!

Love this young man's game and think he will excel at Cumberland. Stat's prove his unselfishness as he an elite scorer (26.6 pts. avg) on a relatively low volume of only 16 floor shots per game producing lots of opportunities for teammates. Scoring efficiency of 1.20 generated by outstanding 53.9% accuracy from floor, 43.6% from 3pg, and 86.7% from FTs. Might be best overall shooting guard in state while still garnering 7.8 hustle rebounds per game. Assists not on KHSAA website and are subjective team to team; but, have seen him play enough to know he makes his teammates better with consistent sharp passing always looking to hit the open man. Cumberland got a steal in this young man.
Great post OC and great player. Congrats to Jake!!!!!

Holy Cross by 5....Home court advantage.

Hey I get it. You won tonight and beat a heckuva good SK team. Congrats
Hey Tiger, these are teenage kids and anything can happen. Just like your Cov Cath prediction in the boys thread. Any given night my man. That's why they play the game.

Not even a bold prediction.
Bracken 76 - 73

I predict no defense will be played and Allen will score 53 points and Crawford will get 51.

The South Laurel game I believe Fredrick was out, who is arguably their best overall player. Aiden has improved so much since the KOB. When he misses a shot it's a surprise. Walter is improving in the post and has a few offensive moves to go with his defensive presence. Cvh not only held onto Ohmer most of last night, he's money from 12-15 ft. I appreciate good basketball and it will take someone's A game to play with CCH.
And I saw Paris on Sunday, although they are a good small school team and fun team to watch.....in 9/10 games Cov Cath beats them. Paris doesn't need to worry about Cov Cath. They will have a dog fight with Campbell Co. for the 10th.
Come on IP, you are being generous. Cov Cath beats Paris 10/10 games.

Another outstanding defensive effort by Pulaski.
-
50-18 @ half. Nobody's beating Cov. Cath if they play like that. And add Fredrick to that, watch out. Their shooting percentage has to be 75+
I hope people and Cov. Cath keep thinking that.

I guess everyone is in agreement Dixie Heights doesn't have a chance?
Not in agreement....Every team in the regional tournament better be ready to play no matter who it is or they will be sent home. It only takes one night that the orange ball decides not to drop in the cylinder as much and that team will be walking off of NKU's court with their tail between their legs. Anything can happen in the regionals and if the ball is not dropping like it should, you have to find other ways to pull out a victory.

Abdullah the Butcher was a scary dude.

Congrats Sean!!!! Keep them buckets coming for the rest of the year.

How many 3's did the Cougars bomb up tonight?

In all seriousness, which heights are those? The lofty ones that the Camel's now sit on?
With all due respect (with much respect to Ricky Bobby), amongst schools the same size, you would be hard pressed to find a school that has achieved less (in all sports) than Campbell County. A little wrestling success, a few recent regional titles in basketball, not too long ago the girls track program was strong, and ..... well.... that is about it. Am I forgetting anything. Oh yeah, you do have long track record of excellence in band, so don't let anyone take that away from you.
Probably a topic for another thread, but what has kept Campbell County from being good at anything other than wrestling (and band) would be interesting topic.
I love this post Oldbird!!!!
