Have to agree with my man d1son on this one, i don't see ncc being good this year. John Hairball Harris would have been their top pitcher no doubt, yet he decided to run track. That should show the level of respect ncc baseball gets. Even their best players don't want to play. Not sure what the deal is on the hill, could be their coaching, which has never really gained much respect. Imo the coaching shouldn't gain much respect because it is average at best.

i feel that new cath's baseball team will just never really be able to beat any of the top nky teams convincingly, they just never seem to have the coaching and more than a few good athletes

Many had high hopes for the breds this season and this is a shocking loss to me coming from how many think the breds have a very nice team this year, better than in the past few years many have said

The urine scandal, one of the more hateful and flat out mean high school baseball scandals in the past decade imo

Personally I feel that Rom has to become more consistent with his strike to ball ratio before Highlands has a chance to make a run at state (assuming they get that far). A few good varsity starts should boost his confidence in order to sustain a good ratio

I like Highlands to win 2a state championship as long as Ben Ziegler runs well and Eric Miller can win the triple jump.

Highlands was state runner up last year for the first time in school history and with many starters graduating, they are much less of a threat. Can Baioni get them there again this year?
