Just a guess, I'm calling for a split with Woodford Co. coming up. Can MNH get the "Dub-ya" when they play?
They certainly have a couple of tough ones coming up.

South Warren has started the season 20-0 and remain the only team in Kentucky without a loss. Can anybody on here tell us anything about them?

St Pat is supposed to be having a meeting on if their baseball team will continue the rest of the season.
No point in continuing.

Anybody have the final score from the Washington County-Middlesboro game?
-
Congrats to Coach Hall. Had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of weeks ago. Great guy!

Will they have a functioning scoreboard? I know at Paris during the All A, there was not scoreboard or PA updates on what the score was. How can a school host a tournament like that with those issues? Isn't Augusta's field an all-dirt infield?
-
I think it's also pretty sad seeing a bunch of support for Augusta's baseball team last year on Twitter and on here from their faithful but to only have five fans show up for their game against Campbell County? More worried about shoving it in Bracken County's faces than to support your own school.
-
I heard St. Pat wasn't going to be competing in the district baseball tournament, how does hat effect how that gets drawn? It'd be awful to see Augusta get a 1st round by just by the luck of the draw.
I also think since Augusta voted to have it at the Fieldhouse then Bracken should get it once of the 4 years, or just give it to Mason permimately and leave it alone. I understand Bracken's reasoning for wanting it, but no sense in bickering over it, I heard a rumor of possible upgrades coming to the Fieldhouse anyway.
Good decision for St. Pat's if this is true. They've had at least one game I've seen on Twitter have only eight players show up to play. I'm sure there have been others as well. Wouldn't be right at all if they won against, say Augusta in the first round then forfeited the championship because of not having enough players. I believe that they would normally seed in a three-team scenario but they can't do that since Augusta doesn't play Bracken or Mason County. Not sure how they'd go about doing it but neither Augusta or St. Pat's deserve to play in the regional tournament. People can harp on Bracken or Mason's records all they want but those two teams, as far as baseball and softball, are in a different world compared to the other two. If Bracken and Mason really wanted to, they could beat either or those teams 40-0.

Awful news. Thoughts and prayers going out to Star's family, friends, teammates and the Dunbar community.

I just hope the draw comes out the way it should.

The 39th District baseball and softball draws scheduled for May 3rd per Evan Dennison.

Not really necessary to attach Kenton County to it. As long as it doesn't say Scott County, it should be treated as Scott. I still don't understand why so many people confuse the two.

Did the Lady Camels come back home on Friday night then go back to Frankfort on Saturday just to get rained out?

5 of the 12 spots taken by the head coach and assistant coaches team, now thats taking care of your own.
Yeah and those five are definitely good enough to be on this team, regardless of who's coaching.

I'll stop in to see that Scott County-Mason game on my way back from Louisville.

Hmmmmm surprised a certain name hasn't popped up on here yet.

I just read this online and my opinion is the timing on this is all wrong. Not that Jake doesn't deserve to have his jersey retired someday, but it should be down the road after he has finished his playing career. I think he would appreciate it much more as an adult looking back. Just too young to appreciate this now.
So you're okay with someone else wearing the #2 at Scott going forward but let's wait 10 years and retire it? The next person wearing #2 may have a great career themselves. What do you do then? I think the timing is perfect. His accolades and what he did for the school are extraordinary and immediate retirement is warranted in this case.

Anything on Pedro Bradshaw? Ohmer?

Marshall County coach Joseph Simmons resigns to take a job in Tennessee.

Wow , you play Hurricane in game 1 and East Jess in game 2 and decide to play for the split . Weak sauce and disappointing IMO . I'd respect the decision more if you just said " we didnt want lose to a Ky team so we saved our ace" . Am I correct that East Jess's ace is out with an injury ?
That's exactly why I'm against any of the past posts when people credit teams as undefeated against Kentucky competition. You lose a game, you lose a game. They don't put some asterisks in college saying "Well UK has lost twice but they're undefeated against SEC competition." There was no excuse for East Carter to not pitch Fouts against Hurricane. East Jessamine is not the team they were last year. If you play the best, you should put the team on the field and the players in the positions that give you the best chance to win, especially against teams like Hurricane, Scott County and Male.

Thanks for the info. Them games coming up should give a measuring stick as to how they compare to some of the elite teams in the state.
