It's not really my problem but other people's. In your face, aggressive, verbal, etc.
Carr is an intense coach, and personally I think his style works great for that team. Scott was at its best when they were playing up tempo. And in the 37th district with Brossart and Campbell, if you're not matching their intensity, you're going to struggle.
I know Carr had his arguments with administration and some parents, but that happens in every relationship

If you're UNLV, when you're offering the deal they offered, you get a signature before you let Cronin get on that plane. Cronin loved being courted, but letting him come back to Cincinnati to talk to Ono, someone he considers a close friend and Bohn in a city he loves, they knew he wasn't coming back to Vegas. UNLV needs to let this go cause the more they talk about it, the more the next coach will feel like they don't really want him there

Open: Western Kentucky - Rick Stansbury?
should expect a lot of movement on this now that A&M's season is over
also, UT San Antonio is still open

@GeoffGrammer
So, UNLV AD now saying on @ESPNLasVegas that Cronin verbally agreed to a deal and then never called back when he went home to Cincy.
This lady needs to stop talking. She's making herself and the university look bad.
could have been a misunderstanding between 2 parties, happens all the time. Like "Netflix and chill"

WHOOOOOOOOOOOO! To quote a famous wrestler named Ric!
You having a hard time holding those alligators down?
-
Cronin's name has been tied to openings before, but he didn't pursue those jobs. This time it sounded like he wanted to find out his worth outside of Cincinnati
-
My goodness they still don't have a private Jet? Huggins complained about that 20 years ago, didn't he?
Yeah still don't have one. Xavier started using one when Thad Matta was there.
-
What Cronin wants from UC
- facilities upgrade (being worked on)
- more money for his assistants
- use of a private jet for recruiting
- the school to lead discussions for the American Conference to renegotiate their TV deal with ESPN
Cronin told UC and the Enquirer that he doesn't want to leave Cincinnati, but that the school isn't doing nearly enough to support the basketball program. UNLV is confident UC won't give him everything he wants.
-
They should name the school after former governor and MLB commissioner A.B. "Happy" Chandler.
The Chandler Greyhounds

He'd add some nice size to NKU, but I'd love to see him with Weyer at Bellarmine
-
I honestly don't get why UC would offer Cronin anything to stay. I know UC fans will jump on me but isn't it time to be the #1 program in your own city again ? If he does leave I think it could be a blessing in disguise.
The problem with UC letting Cronin go is that UC is a mid-major school with average facilities, weak funding, and as big of a Bearcat fan I am I'll admit this: a small fan base. The best realistic hire they could make in Cronin's place would be Larry Davis. He did a nice job filling in when Cronin was out, but that would still be a minor step back.

Would Paducah be top 10 with a state title?.....

Open:
- Rutgers: Possibly filled: Steve Pikiell from Stony Brook
is that not official yet? thought that was set in stone

nothing wrong with a good leverage tackle. lets get the head out of the tackle as much as we can
i heard a coach at a football clinic compare tackling to stopping a rolling car. you're not going to physically use your head to stop it, so why use it to stop someone running full speed

If attendance is the issue, I don't think moving the games to Saturday night will make much of a difference. Purple said it earlier, it's more of the who is playing than what time the game is. I would prefer having the Saturday night game so I could have a more viable (still not good) excuse for my wife to spend the whole day in Lexington.
I do think the KHSAA should make the semifinal games earlier in the day if they stick with the Sunday championship

Being a Catholic school, the stereotype is that schools like Holy Cross and NCC are rolling in money when people connected to those communities know that's far from the the case and that every dollar counts. Congrats to HC and hopefully it contributes to the nkypete retirement fund

Does Pikeville allow administrators to coach?
-
UC played their hearts out, never quit and never laid down. To think how different the season would be if 1 second went the Bearcats way
Damn it
-
Should be a freaking blood bath tomorrow!!!!! Well at least a scrappy, physical up tempo game. This will probably be the most athletic team NCC has faced all year. I'm rooting for the Breds, but picked Dunbar in the poll
-
South Laurel is a great team, honestly didn't see them getting to the Final Four when the tournament started. Congratulations to the Cardinals on their run
-
I have watched enough NKU games to confidently say that he would contribute for them. He will star at Bellarmine.
I too have watched a lot of NKU games this year and I feel like Bellarmine could still beat them
Weyer is a fantastic player and will have a great college career as long as he stays healthy. I'm also a big Xavier fan and I hope Goodin has a great career

biggest upset in NCAA tournament ever?
-
Not a CovCath fan, but everyone in the 9th region should be rooting for NCC
-
Like Thor said, he's not dominant against athletic tall guys, and guys like Goodin from Taylor County or Williams from Dunbar could give him fits, but he's a physical guy that'll wear down guys like that before they wear him down.
Key to beating NCC is not allowing Moeves, Hall or Anderson to start hitting from outside. Make NCC play inside the 3 point line and work hard for every shot.
What will be the best Elite 8 game this weekend?

I think Oregon and Oklahoma with their explosive offenses
