Any word on if Ludlow or Newport Catholic will be able to schedule a new game?

Being so close to the river I wonder if they would be allowed to schedule with a team in Ohio. If my memory serves correct, doesn't Ohio's playoffs start a week earlier than KY. Could they schedule a game with a team who doesn't make the OH playoffs?

Looks like NewCath got hot in the 2nd Quarter with 3 rushing touchdowns and 1 passing touchdown, out-scoring Ludlow 26-6.

Nicholas County scores and goes up by 1 by converting a 2 point conversion late in the 4th quarter to go up 15-14. But Brossart kicks a FG to seal the win and end Nicholas County’s unbeaten season. 17-15.

Paris is up 8-0 after a successful 2point conversion in the 3rd Quarter 

Bracken County and Nicholas County will face off on Oct 21 at Bracken County, both will face Bishop Brossart and Paris opposite weeks and should be tough tests for both, but it would be exciting if both remain undefeated heading into that game.

Pineville is 5-0 with a scoring margin of 229-54 and victories over Phelps, Fairview, Paris, 3A McCreary Central, and Berea (Opp. Record 9-19)

Nicholas County is 6-0 with a scoring margin of 246-69 with victories over 2A Owen County, Berea, Fairview, Fort Knox, 3A Pendleton County, and Frankfort (Opp. Record 11-24)

Bracken County is 5-0 with a scoring margin of 162-53 with victories over 3A Lewis County, Caverna, 2A Trimble County, Frankfort, and Dayton (Opp. Record 12-17)

With the 1A Trophy already being packaged up to be sent to Pikeville, I was looking to celebrate some early season success for these smaller programs and find out if any of them are worth watching come playoff time.

I know this is a loss for Newport, but I really feel like Coach Hahn and his staff have really made this Newport team significantly better from Game 1 to now.
