The major concern for me is the lack of organization, there are times late in games when players and coaches seem terribly confused! That is unacceptable!
-
I have never in my 57 years on earth been ashamed of an American president, but I am truly embarrassed. I recently have decided to constantly be armed. In the event that I am involved in an attack I will fight back to the best of my ability, I suggest that all American citizens do the same!

Don't. Poke. The. Bear.
ISIS has been poking the bear for a while now, our so called leader thinks he can negotiate and befriend these barbarians. Bully starts hitting you, better hit him back or he's gonna hit you again tomorrow! He told us on the campaign trail that he would reduce the American military, he has certainly done that!

Willis' versatility will allow Cal to use him in a number of ways, and based on this seasons play if Charles Mathews is ahead of Willis I been watching a different game!
-
I couldn't agree more that Cal will play 7 or 8 players which would be a normal rotation in March, but based on this seasons performances why would Willis not be in that 7-8! Cal has told his players to "make me play you, if you play well enough it's not up to me" and to this point that's exactly what Willis is doing.
-
Be careful sir, curiosity will get you chastised. But if you figure it out let me know!I thought the same thing. -
Don't think Cal would invest as many minutes played on Willis early on if he wasn't a serious option, and ultimately how many minutes he gets will depend on His play, 55% from three point range will get you minutes in any program! Really good at entry pass into the post, and shoots it so well that it may keep teams honest on doubling Skal. Duke will bring a different level of competition and we should know more of what Cal is thinking!
-
When Derek Willis announced that he would attend the University Of Kentucky some people thought he would never see the floor for meaningful minutes. After two games Willis is averaging 12.5 points per game while shooting 66% from the floor. He is also playing very well defensively. Surprised? Will he continue his outstanding play?

Until I can define white town, you'll have to decide the answer to this question yourself. You gotta try hard to upset me.But I have to ask, is 98 percent not a high enough threshold?
-
Oh, for God's sake. Do we really need a cutoff point to know a town is lily-white? Not sure why we're haggling about percentages.
Have never heard the term white town referenced, just trying to educate myself, didn't mean to upset you.
-
By saying that 98% of the town is white...
The article states that 98% of the town is white, have not been able to verify that this is is a definition used by the Census Bureau.
-
98% of the town is white; that makes it a white town.
Got it.
-
Interesting, not being a wise guy, wonder what qualifies a town as a white town?
-
Should be a great game, tough to pick a winner this early. I am interested to see Ulis and Murray match up against tough defensive players. Skal probably has the most upside for the next level, but something tells me these two could be very special! I believe that Poythress and Lee will have to bring a toughness on the defensive end, as Skal and Humphries are not physically ready at this point in the season and Willis doesn't seem to want to play that way! Because the guards are so good UK 76-70!

Surgery went well and apparently it was just a tumor! Get well soon Lindsey!
-
Recent UK commit Lindsey Duvall will have surgery on Thursday to have a tumor removed that is located near her knee!
-
NCAA is going to have to consistently enforce their rules regardless of what they are or you'll never see scoring improved! Seems that when officials stopped enforcing the handcheck rule, offense really suffered, then palming the ball was allowed to level the playing field, which it has not!
-
I've always been impressed with Crews' from an x and o standpoint! Seems to get great effort from his players. Don't know what kind of relationship he has with the parents, I do know that this part of coaching is getting more and more difficult!
-
I've heard good things regarding Sander! If coach Vincent steps down, there will be alot of interesting names thrown around, as there were when Vincent was hired!
-
Looks like something has to give!

Duke is the one program that has been equal to UK in the Cal era, you may have been better off asking this question of a different program! What are you talking about? As I had clearly written in a previous post, I am not a big fan of basketball, and am certainly not a UK zealot. The psychiatrist in me is actually fascinated by the outrage caused by my original post. Go back and read it again. I asked a simple question... Why choose Duke over UK?And by the way, I am an employee of UNC Chapel Hill!
-
I try to refrain from personal opinions, but since you asked I would say each of your posts were equally as ridiculous as the premise of this assanine thread!ILol. You UK guys are so easy. Was my post even remotely more ridiculous than the premise in which this assanine thread was started? If it was good, but that may be even funnier than you took it hook line and sinker.

I would think this would be true, however the trick will be pairing the one and dones with upperclassmen, then you have the recipe for super teams! It took a couple of years for Coach K to warm up to the one and done player. Now that he has you will see the number of NBA guys from Duke rise. -
Yep, there was no such thing as a one and done unti Cal came along. Good call. Only thing he will be credited for is somehow managing to not win titles with the best talent because he refuses to recruit program kids, just transients
No college basketball coach has ever sent players into the NBA at the rate that Calipari has! He has also won a national championship! These are facts, not my personal opinion! His former players also seem to have a great deal of respect for him, and support the University whenever called upon. So far the players that Cal has brought to UK represent the program in an outstanding way! I would have coach K run my program anyday, just as I would Cal!

Stoops probably gets two more years, coordinators could be in trouble if they lose to UL!
