I'm not knocking the kids talent I just don't think it's fair to compare him to the guards at Walton. In time I think he will be a great player

People were downplaying his performance in 9th grade D3 state and an 8th grader so thought I’d point it out.

I think the kid is a nice player but saying he burned it up in aau nationals means nothing. I believe they play in D3 nationals and all nationals r not real good once u get in the hs level. All your talent is playing in exposure events.

He dropped 40 on CKY Magic at state who is Adidas.

Not exactly. Twenhofel goes to SK too. And let's not forget about the 8th grader playing JV and Varsity too.

Its a shame Birds don't have Ahlfeld or Huddy. I think they would give CovCath a run with those kids. Did Salter play in this game?

SK has 5 freshman that don't play freshman.

Ryle and Dixie were 3A at least into the early 2000s.

I could be wrong but I think Boone Co (maybe Campbell Co) was the only 4A team in NKY before the 2000's

At first thought I came up with something similar to what you've posted. I'm thinking Ryle, SK and Dixie all fall under the 1-2 trophy area within the past 20 years.

 

Obviously Ryle is too young a school beyond that. SK was a door mat prior to the turn of the century. Dixie may have had some solid teams prior to 2000 but I'm too young to know about them.
