I think what was not said, and maybe no one has the actual stats, is that Beechwood had significantly more offensive rebounds that led to second chance points. They easily had 10 offensive rebounds that led to 20 points which is 40% of their total.

Significantly as in two more offensive rebounds. It was 17 to 15. Good try though. Beechwood had 10 second chance points.

Do you have the turnover numbers from the Box?

I do not but i do know Beechwood had 14 points off turnovers to Newport’s 4.

From where I was sitting I would have to say Beechwood owned 12 minutes of the second half and then forgot to play the final 4 minutes. Beechwood pretty much owned the boards all night, really glad to see Newport storm back, great game.

Idk that I’d say Beechwood “outplayed” Newport but street ball prevails, I guess.

Seems fitting, almost poetic that Taj wins it with a free throw after Newport's struggles from the line last year. Congrats on a huge win.

As i said in the predictions thread, free throws aren’t an issue this year. And Tahj was a beast.

A team not hitting free throws does not equate to the other team stealing a victory.

How does it not? They hit their free throws, they win.

Beechwood stole last year because Newport couldn’t hit a free throw down the stretch. That is not an issue anymore.

Basically you get an “alert” and have about 15 seconds to accept. Once accepted it’ll GPS you to the restaurant and you go in and get then when you begin delivery it’ll GPS you the route it wants you to take. It’s paid by time, distance, drop off and the bonus that would be going on. I make typically $7-8 on avg per delivery. I’ve made as high as $27 and low as $4. You get tips as well but not every time.

Not to distract too far from the original topic, but has anyone tried driving for Uber eats? I have a couple of expenses that I would like to make a little extra on the side to pay for. Like an extra $150/ month so nothing crazy. I don’t like the idea of drunk people riding in my car so Uber may be out of the question.

I did/do. Usually on Saturdays and Friday nights depending on the delivery boost. There have been several times I’ve made $200 plus but it was about 6 hours.

Just to clarify, that was Roy’s worst HOME loss. Not just any old loss. There have been worse.

Worst game Carolina has played all year. Louisville shot it well. Carolinas first loss at home by 20+ points since 02 (their 8-20 season I believe). Enoch had the pleasure of an easy game thanks to being guarded by Luke Maye who I can not wait to graduate. Hopefully Carolina can get payback at the Yum Center.
