Last year Boyle scored 28 points before Collins even touched the ball. All the recovered onside kicks took Collins out of the game before they even had an offensive snap. I look for this game to be a very good one from two championship level programs. Collins gets the win 38-34

East will not get the credit they deserve. They have played 2 good teams so far. They have played really well in both of those games. Their coach has done a great job with this team. I watched them once last year and once so far this year, and its safe to say they have improved tremendously. The problem for East is they play a good 6a team this week in Central Hardin. This team can start off 0-3. Their record does not do them justice IMO.

Collins rolled over BE last year 55-14. Collins returns a lot of starters back from a year ago and BE has a new head coach. Collins wins 38-7

I think this is awesome. I went to S. Florida this summer for vacation and they had a channel that played high school football games all year long. They also showed interviews with players and coaches etc...It was fun to watch. I look forward to catching some games on TV this season! When will the full schedule be out?

Two things IMO

1) Lack of pay.. Compared to pay scales in other states, coaches in KY get paid very low!

2) Lack of respect for authority. I have seen parents and players both have a lack of respect for their head coach.

You listened to the game on the radio but you only caught one teams stats? You sure you wasnt at the game pretending to be a Titans fan?

TE only has one reception on the year according to KHSAA.ORG stats.

Not sure if I would consider it an upset but I have #3 Collins over #2 Valley.

I'm not sure if most would consider this an upset but I think Collins #3 handles Valley #2 pretty easily. Valley will be by far the easiest team on Collins schedule. It will be interesting to see a rematch between Shelby Co and Collins if they both advance.

St. Joes as well. I'm sure they will start pouring in now.

Much deserved. I had the privilege to watch this kid quite a few times this season and was confused as to why he has no d1 offers yet. Hopefully more to come.

Collins will be back in the mix this year after some called a "rebuilding" year. Their sophomore-to-be QB has a whole year under his belt now. Return every linemen from last years team. Also, with Highlands and Boyle reclassifying no one in 4A has more 4A championships than Collins if my research is right. Does this mean that Collins is the new "powerhouse" in 4A?

I have heard rumors that the Eminence High job is open. Paul Mcdowell resigned after one season

Shelby County will move down to 4a which means they are in the same district as Collins. I bet the folks in Shelby County are licking their chops at the fact that both schools are in the same district now. Should be fun if they meet in the playoffs.

Doss has a TON of talent. 2 of their starters are candidates for region player of the year. Terrel Gray, their football standout, is actually better at basketball. They also have a new coach, Tony Williams, who played for UofL in the early 2000's. Should be a fun year for the Dragons as they are loaded and have majority of their team back who lost to PRP by 1 in the region finals last season.

I thought it was illegal to "Swat" at the ball before it was snapped? I was at the Doss-Fairdale game and #73 from Fairdale swatted the ball right as the center was snapping. Very well timed play by #73 but shouldnt there have been a flag? Just curious to know the rule here....

Doss has already beat Fairdale once this season. I dont look for much to change.

Doss over Spencer. Doss has too much speed and talent. Spencer has had a decent year, almost winning the district, but their dreams are cut short tonight. Doss wins 34-16

Doss wins on the road by 14. Doss will get off to a slow start but will overcome and eventually win the game. Spencer cannot match the size and athleticism
