  1. Might end up being the best game of Round 1. Scott County is pretty darn solid, considering their record and the region they're coming out of. Fleming would have to press a little bit and play its best offensive game of the year to beat Scott Co. Gilbert I know is the real deal. If this team wins it all, he should be Mr. Basketball, what say you all? As for the question about Steward, I believe that a good performance from him in this game will land him several D1 offers. Kid is 6'4", creates his shot, has a pure stroke (gets it from his cousin, Chris Lofton), and is bouncy. I know this time last year that Western Kentucky was real interested. Anyone know about Gilbert's college future? Or Burns from Fleming? I heard he was getting big time interest before the ACL injury but what about now...
  2. Franklin Flyer, It seems that you may have an unpopular idea of what "mid-level" means. So in that case, sure. Anyway, best of luck to Davis and his recruitment. We should be happy for him wherever he goes.
  3. PRP and Fleming County might need to be ranked substantially higher than given here. Of course it's a computerized system, so I won't complain too much because there's no human to blame this ranking on (well, except for maybe Cantrell ).
  4. He's a big time player, that's for sure. Regardless of Lexington Catholic's size, he pulled down 31 rebounds against them. Anyone who can get 31 rebounds vs LexCath is worthy of a high D1 offer. I personally hope Calipari finds a reason to offer him. But right now I personally see Davis going to a mid-level SEC school.
  5. Recently, I've got to go with the 2011 State Championship between Christian Co and Rowan Co. Would have gone last year but didn't get to see Madison Central shock Ballard!
  6. I say Trinity by 9. They're much more talented but I see them as one of those teams playing more to the level of its opponents.
