There are more people out there that think neutral sites would benefit high school football besides me. FINALLY. The ones that don't want to see it are USUALLY teams that regularly get home field games in the semis. Wouldn't it be great to see neutral sites with more competitive games. Heck with this format you could seed the top 4, and get even better games. It is my view that MANY years (more than half the classes) the state finals are decided in the semis anyway. Seems that more often than not the two best teams are from the same side of the bracket. The reason it isn't done is that those teams that get cakewalks to WKU every year don't want to earn their spot in BG.

It is a much bigger rivalry game for Trigg vs Caldwell than vs PT, and I expect Trigg to pony up a little bit more in this one. Still Caldwell is much better.

Agree with Purple88 here. I wouldn't rush Cain back either. No need to in the next couple of games. Union is the best team Caldwell will face before Mayfield, and they did pretty well without him. They were a little flat, but that can be expected. Easing him back would be the preferred route for me (maybe 25-40 percent vs Trigg, and 60-80 percent vs Ft Campbell) just to keep him in the groove. Mayfield will be a battle, but meaningless in the big picture for both teams since both ARE title contenders.

1. Belfry - undefeared, but hard to compare to the rest of 3A with no common opponents. Belfry will again be in the title game, they should have a cakewalk in the east.
2. Boyle Co - 4A team last year slipping to 3A in west. Top 10 regardless of class.
3. Caldwell Co - one loss team. Lost to a very good Christian Co team in week 1 missing a game winning field goal. Since settling on a QB (played 4 different guys in week 1) has done nothing but impress.
4. Central - team with the most impressive win in 3A, but also the most questionable loss in 3A. Can't afford those and continue in playoffs.
5. E'town - undefeated, but soft schedule. Not a top 4 team.
6. LexCath - good team, but questionable. Again a second tier team in 3A.
7. PT -Good team, but questionable. Same as #5 and #6 .
8. Russell - solid, but only ranked here because of their likely hood of advancing in playoffs due to a soft east side of bracket.
9. Bell Co - same as #8 . Toss up between the 2.
10. Union Co - top of the district for now, but soft schedule. Tough match-up for them come Friday. Sadly will finish 3rd in their district and see an early exit come playoffs.

While we are doing this, I will take Caldwell over Central, LexCath, Bell, Corbin, and Belfry. Tight game with Boyle. That would be a pickem

I don't know about choking. Seems like last year Murray was being handled pretty well until Sindelar went down. The year before I believe both games we're close and murray had a very good team.

Should have a class just for private schools in Ky.

I don't know about blast. More of a stern whipping lol
What did I tell you about last nights game? I believe I said a 2 TD victory. I just got a bonus pick 6.

No blast is better.

I will agree with one-third of that. Boyle may be standing at the top all alone.

Not watching the same game I was.

Is ATLCAT ready to give the west side of 3A it's due?
-
HMM. To respond nicely, I don't think Caldwell will be there anyway. Just making a point that one side, no matter the class, seems to have MUCH tougher paths to a state title. Sometimes its the east, sometimes the west. Just trying to invoke a more level playing field for everyone.
But your comment does accomplish one thing. You prove the point of how depleted those teams that are in the more difficult bracket, and that gives the other team an advantage in Bowling Green. Thanks for the input.

Should Semi-Finals be played at a neutral field?

Would you agree that more often then not one side of the bracket (east or west) seems to have 2 teams or more that are better than the best team in the other bracket?
