The NKY Bulldogs will be sending their U15 and U16 teams to Indy this week for the Adidas Invitational. There are over 100 teams per age group. I also saw where KY Elite, Louisville Magic, and TBC will be playing U15 there as well. Anyone else going to this event.

I'd say 3rd. They're in a district with Bullitt East, and an improved J-Town team. Bullitt East will win that district again, but J-Town is going to surprise a lot of people.
Jtown will win the district. 4 returning starters (if K Minor gets and stay healthy) but need to find some people to do the dirty work.

Yes he plays for Western Kentucky Sonics.
Everyone is trying to get him, Indiana Spiece Jazz (#1 in the country) Hoop Dreams, Manimal, Travelers all are trying to get him but he has been loyal to his team thus far. I am going to guess that Travelers get him if anyone does.
I believe Indiana Elite is top of basketball in Indiana. I believe if he does decide to change teams, it would be either Indiana Elite or Indy Spiece Heat (who's older team is EYBL).

The million dollar question(s). Has Ronnie Carson been playing with East Jessamine this month and his he transferring to Henry Clay as some folks believe to be happening?
I don't see how Ronnie Carson and Jeremiah Tisdale can play together. Their games seems to be identical but Jeremiah is the better player on offense and defense. The times I have seen Ronnie play with the Magic did not impress me.

Yes he is.... But I believe the transfer from PRP (Bryce Byrd) is a lot better....

They have a senior point guard that is transferring from PRP that should give them some direction. I really believe coaching is the issue with that team. They have the players but being in the same region as Ballard & Trinity they can only hope....

How did Spaulding do?
The tournament was father's day weekend. Spalding is going to be doing big things this year. Defensively he is going to alter shots with his length. He is not a post player but can know down shots 10 to 5 feet.

you are correct.. Sorry about that...

I agree. Manual has a strong Jr class led by Sutton plus a Soph point guard (forgot his name). Plus coached does a good job getting the best out of the kids.

Jeffersontown currently only has 4 players that should be on the court. Daniel Williams (Sr) is a great shooter but shot selection is questionable at times. Brandon Marshal (Sr) plays the point position well at times. Some games when he is not feeling it, he will hurt the team. He needs to work on getting others positions to score. Kahlid Minor (Sr) is tallest on roster but is currently battling back issues (since Feb and continuing through out the summer) which is slowing down his progress. Because Jtown lacks size, he is one that really needs to come along for JTown to be successful. Brandon Johnson (Jr) is a great shooter but needs to get to the basket more instead of settling for 3s all the time. He is the one who can replace the lost scoring the Moe Hendricks provided last year. He finished the season strong averaging 20 point the last couple of games but needs to do that consistently through out the season. After that, things are really questionable. All 4 guys talked about were starters from last year but what is missing is guys 5 - 8 to give these guys the support and rest needed for games. So far for the month of June, defense has also been questionable, either because it is just summer and coach is just focusing on sets to be ran for the next season or guys really have not bought into really playing defense. Either way Coach Moody has work to do. The season will have highlights because (Daniel, Brandon M, and Brandon J) can put point on the board in a big way but just relying on offense with no defense will have some nights that will not go their way. And hopefully some kids in Jefferson Country will transfer into the school as there is playing time to be earned.....

In the city of Louisville, you can transfer schools with the change of address into the schools zone without having to sit out a year. This could be a great pickup for Ballard as they drop off at point guard after Q. He could have played this June with Ballard because summer ball does not fall under KHSAA rules but Ballard would not risk recruiting violations. Jamie was put off Central team....

The biggest surprise was PRP losing by 20 to Trinity. I would have thought PRP would have challenged Trinity with all the quality guys they have.
-
Coach gets everything out of them with defense. Trinity crushed a lot of teams this weekend. The loss of Jamie Johnson is tough.
-
Most AAU teams shut down during the month of June because of the High School period and AAU state tournament is in May. PRP should dominate Ballard because Q is at a camp this week and he is the one who holds that team together.
