Holy Toledo the Phillies got a ton back for Ken Giles.
Probably about what the Reds would have gotten for Chapman if they traded him at the deadline
-
And the Cards offered over 200 mil... Took less to play for Cubs. It sucks that he went to Chicago but taking less to not play for STL is hilarious and awesome.
-
The Braves are still trying to make up for the Texiera trade
-
That was a wrinkle to this I was never expecting

If Chapmam was the only reason some people watched games, then they didn't watch too many last year. Point is he's a luxury, the Reds are so bad they dont need him. They will have an opportunity to trade him for someone that will help win games down the road. He has to go
-
It sounds like the deal is not done. Mark Sheldon reported that multiple teams could be in the mix to get him now. Which to me means that when the Dodger deal was reported, teams who low balled the Reds are now offering more in return. I take this as a really good sign.
-
Should get one of the top 3 guys for him. Not sure that I'd settle for anything less. He is the best closer in the NL after all.
The Dodger top 3 aren't your typical top 3.

I love the freak out on Twitter right now, some Reds fans are ridiculous. They'd think Chapman should only be traded for Trout. I have faith the Reds got some good future players out of it.

Every single SEC East hire this year have been downgrades.

It's the equivalent of other states Bball players committing to UK over their home school. I don't blame him one bit for going to Bama, glad he's doing well there.
-
Poythress has only played 8 basketball games in almost a calendar year. His effort has been awesome, his skills are still rusty.
-
This team still had the ingredients to make a march run. Skal has been very disappointing, he is soft. If he could put on 20 pounds he'd be a beast. But unfortunately no time for that to happen. All he can control is his effort, and it's not there right now.

The scariest people in the world are people who kill others on behalf of their God. They have nothing to lose in their mind, and kill senselessly. So sad
-
Not at all. It can certainly have an impact.
I am stating that the offensive line is not a "huge portion" of why Towles isn't good.
UL has Petrino who has a great reputation with QB's. And then you have UK's... Coaching is a huge factor in all of this IMO

A majority of PTs issues are issues a good coach can iron out. A good coach can teach him to read a defense correctly and where to throw it when.
Dorian Baker alone had 2 balls hit his hand that ended up in the other teams hands, one at USC, and the other I think Auburn. If he had any help he could have been an above average D1 QB at UK. I fear/hope for his sake, wherever he goes next will prosper way better than UK will. Won't be surprised to see him starting at a perennial top 25 BCS school, or a MAC school.
This coaching staff failed PT, and I really think it might fail Barker too.

I thought it was a very good movie and thoroughly enjoyed it. Although it almost has the same exact ending as Rocky 1. I got goosebumps when he got the Stars and Stripes boxing shorts, really neat moment.
Doesn't top Rocky 1 or 2, but I think it's in the top 3. Sets up very well for a Creed 2.

Kentucky looked better last year against UL and that really scares me.

Go to 8. Play the first round at home on Christmas Eve. Then go to like it is now.
-
Not sure what that means. Reds are puzzling at best
After this upcoming season, Jocketty essentially becomes a part time employee. He will basically be an advisor, and Dick Williams will run the show
-
Walt needs to go. Anyone who thinks this club is,2-3 years from being back in playoff contention is delusional...
He is going... Where have you been the past month?
-
If Dawson leaves, no way Stoops can survive past next year. Having 3 coordinators in 4 years can kill your program
-
He must be thrilled. Nothing worse than trying to build up one player by KILLING another player with GROSS exaggerations.
Or by realizing his boy isn't that good and is looking at anything to blame as to why. Let us not forget how if he caught the ball against Florida last year, there would be no record to break this year.
-
The good thing with Votto, the majority of his game won't age with him. He is a contact guy who has a great eye. His obp will be pretty good still when the contract is at the end of its life.

As I recall, it was somewhere in Hawaii last year.
