If I'm NCC I like getting Holmes first. You have a few days to prepare for them. They come in off a heartbreaking loss. And if you knock them off you have already cleared your greatest hurdle. Plus to be the man you must beat the man. There are no prizes in making it to Sunday and then losing except more games. You knew you were going to have to play them so game on. It will be a great atmosphere that I'm sure they players will enjoy as well as fans. Plus if you have aspirations of making noise at Rupp you must win these games and take on all challengers. Gonna be a good ole good one.

Rough last 3 minutes of game for Brossart. Greis hit a 3 to give them a 3 pt lead but Camels answered and then Brossart got a case of the turnover bug in the last couple minutes trying to force balls into Futscher when it just wasn't there. Game in reality means little in region if you can avoid that first round Montgomery Co matchup. Pretty safe to say Montg. and Campbell and Brossart are the top 3 teams, comes down to which side of the bracket 2 of them are in. Brossart has a 33% first round shot of drawing them. You would prefer to get that game in the finals with the goal of region title riding on that one game.

I know that Futscher and Kiernan, both juniors and have scored their 1,000 pts this season, both went to St Joes Cold Spring. How good was this St Joe squad during their tenure? They both play the 5 and are at or near 6ft. Did this team ever lose a game in middle school or give up a rebound to an opponent? They must have been loaded. Are any other players from that team still playing in high school?

Walton Verona wins by 6+. So much size inside, I think they will have HHS battling foul trouble with their bigs similar to NCC
