I recall reading in the Lexington Hearld Leader in 2010. My have been a meet record, but nonetheless, the record that he broke was Tyson Guy's. The paper wrote a article on it.

I may have been wrong in saying nowhere near as fast, but in a race head to head, I am still taking Timmons. You are looking at 100 times and last year in track he was never pushed. In the state finals last year, he shut the burners off at 80 meters. This is the same kid that broke a Tyson Gay record as a sophomore. I will agree that Quick is the stronger and more physical player.

Quick is 2 inches taller, but nowhere near as fast!

I say that Timmons has a bigger upside than Quick because I have seen both of them play. Quick is a better route runner and has better hands. Quick is a more finished receiver. Timmons is simply a better athlete when it comes to speed and quickness. Its unreal! Great feet and hips! f he improves his route running... he is already scary, but he will go from Chucky to Freddie Cougar!

Is Mr. Football given to the best player in the state of Ky this year or given to the player with the best career in high football? If it is given for a season, the numbers that Timmons is putting up....you couldn't make a player on NCAA Football 2012 on XBox that could compare number wise! If it is for career... they award should have given the 2012 trophy to Quick in 2011. Personally, I think Quick is currently a more polished player right. Running patterns and catching, but Timmons has a bigger upside. The speed and quickness that Timmons has cannot be taught!

I believe this game will be close for a half, then depth, size, and strength will start to factor in. FCHS & FHS have a some of the best teams they have had in recent years, but FCHS is a 5A school and FHS is 1A. FCHS should win big on size of school alone. I love the skill players on both teams. But if you wanna see where this game is won and lost, look at the strength and depth of FCHS's offensive line against FHS front four in the 2nd half. Another note: A think FHS would stand a great chance of winning this game if sophomore RB Jalen Acree wasn't out for the season.
