Dixie travels to Florence to take on the Rebels to open district play. Dixie is coming off a bye, while the Rebels are coming off a narrow 14-13 win against Paul Laurence Dunbar. This will be a big step up in competition for the Rebels. They will have to play much better than last week to keep it close. Dixie has a couple very good RB’s in Gregg and Anderson so the Rebels will need to slow down the running game to have a chance. When Boone is on offense they need to limit the turnovers and penalties that have cost them the last couple weeks. They were able to overcome the mistakes against PLD, but that won’t work this week. Can Boone keep it close and pull off the upset?
