Coach Liggin walked into a mess at Holmes with major discipline issues that he utlimately resolved by setting strict standards for everyone, including the coaches on his staff. Coach Liggin set up a more reasonably matched schedule in terms of Holmes' talent and the surrounding competition. The team should have good success next year, but talent drops off after Scruggs is gone
