  1. Don't do it. Rivers will be in a shootout with the Packers and has much better weapons than Hasselbeck.
  2. I've been doing the Start/Sit threads for 3-4 weeks. I've hit on some and missed on some. This past week there were some questions about what I expected to get from certain players. So let's talk about expectations. Using the standard basic scoring, what do you expect from your team each week? 80-90 points? 90-100+? What makes and elite fantasy player? 15+ point average? What do you expect from the non-elite players? 8+? My expectations are pretty high. I want my team to average in the high 90's. QB = 12-17 RB = 12-15 WR = 10-12 TE = 8-10 K = 10-12 Def = 8-10 I know, I know, the list above doesn't add up to 90+. Depending on the league and number of teams, you're pretty much guaranteed to get 2 elite players that should exceed the above expectations. If I only got 17 from Aaron Rodgers, I'd be a little disappointed. Brees, Brady same thing. Adrian Peterson, Ray Rice, Chris Johnson(before this year), Arian Foster etc... I want 20+ from each of my elite players. I'm not going to get that every week, but more times than not I will. So what are your expectations? Will you sacrifice at a certain position to get an elite at another position?
  3. Not a big fan of it either, but thought the numbers would be servicable from the secondary guys.
  4. Never called you a rookie. Break given. Good for you on winning some leagues, see the sun does shine.....nevermind.
  5. I'm not going anywhere. I just don't and won't live on here. It'll take me 10+ years to get over 10k posts. I'll post my predictions weekly. I'm sure we'll all have fun with it.
  6. Really? That's like saying 1 out of 60 plays cost you the game. C'mon man
  7. Never claimed to be perfect, just claimed I know more about FF than you, but I have bad weeks too.
  8. To be honest, after reading the FF threads, he didn't have much to begin with, so it wasn't that much of a stretch. Call 'em like I see 'em. Where's your team in the BGP league?
  9. 166, 2 = 16 Not bad, but I hope you have better options or are stacked at other positions.
  10. Much more interesting and makes it a tough call. I'd probably do it.
  11. Burleson Philly's DB's are going to shut one of the wideouts down, but you can't say which one. Nelson could get 10+ points or 4-5 pts. I think Burleson's going to go for 8+
  12. I suppose that depends on how the deal makes you better. As of right now, you're basically trading 2 starters for 1.
  13. I say NO don't do it. You have to be patient with Ingram. He's a rookie, they're building him up slowly. Come playoff time when he's putting up mid 20+ weeks, you'll regret it. People need to look long term and not just this week and next week.
  14. Buy low sell high on Smith. Rivers and San Diego are tradionally slow starters. This year the team's doing well and Rivers should get better after the by week. Especially if Gates starts to play.
  15. Those are your Top 3 WR's? LOL Parker's the flavor of the week. Crabtree and Parker will have similar numbers. Pick one.
  16. So you're serving SOS? Isn't that what they eat in the Navy?
  17. Drama, always gotta be drama in the fantasy sports. Lineup issues, rejected trades, missed waiver wire picks. Always something. Suck it up and get back in the game.
