Very entertaining game. As stated by many, BH's outside shooting was really impressive...but I was equally impressed with the athletic ability and high basketball IQ he showed by attacking the rim late in the game. He either made the shot, got to the line (stopping the clock), or created easy shots (mostly put back variety) for his teammates. Bueter's four FTs at the end were clutch. I enjoyed seeing that from the Sr. leader. Bueter was also the go to guy for end of quarter set plays and he executed on two of them (3 pointer top of the key and 3 point play driving to the basket). Also was impressed by McDonald wanting the ball at the end of the game...when things were crazy the Soph showed some leadership...and made a nice post move for a bucket to slow Dixie's late run. Pangallo's ball handling, Schulte's dunk, tough defensive effort in the 4th and late run by Dixie, ... all added up for a great game. Saw a lot of NKY HS coaches at the game. Would love to read their notes and thoughts on how to defend both of these teams.

Some were asking about ticket availability...this just out from Fort Thomas Independent Schools: Sell Out Expected for Highlands vs. Covington Catholic Playoff Game Tickets for the Highlands vs. Covington Catholic regional playoff game on Friday, November 18, are selling fast and Highlands’ officials estimate having only 800-1,000 tickets available at the gate. With the large fan base of each team, this game is expected to be an early sell out. Once capacity is reached, no additional tickets can be sold. Presale tickets are currently on sale in the Highlands High School bookstore from 8am–3pm, and it is recommended that tickets are purchased prior to the game to ensure their availability. Covington Catholic was also given a ticket allotment for presale at their school.
