  1. Like any other camp, only longer and costs more. Good exposure with the schools that attend. Depends if any of the schools interest the kid that is attending. Might make more sense to just attend the schools of interest one day camp. Depends on the kid. Also, some of the larger schools 1 day camps invite the other coaches as well. BE SELECTIVE. One piece of advice- If the kid is not a blue chip D-1 recruit, I would stay away from the larger D-1 one day camps, ie. Northwestern's Camp, etc. They will get lost in the shuffle. I highly recommend you attend a very specific, targeted, group of camps where, realistically, the kid can play. Once registered, reach out to the coach's and let them know the kid will be there. Include the highlight video and some key stats along with his actual measurable's (I say actual, because they will be measuring upon arrival). Otherwise, you are waisting your time and money. If, for example, there are 6-8 schools at this Blue Chip Academy camp that the kid is truly interested in and you realistically believe that the kid can play at those schools level, then it might be worth it. Otherwise, go to the schools 1 day camp. Hope that helps.

Very good advice. Don't tell them your 6'4 230. And your 6'1 200. They will take your shoes off height weight vert. 40 yard time. I would visit camps that you get a personal invite to via email. Better yet a phone call from the coach. Let them know you are coming.

  2. Thomas More, Georgetown and Mount Saint Joesph are all receruiting him as DE. He won't play D1 as a DE. DE is just where Meade needs him. Kid benches 315, squats 400 and power cleans 245. Not many LB in KY have those numbers. Eastern Michigan, Cincinnati, Southeastern Missouri and Ball State all recruiting him as a OLB or Hybrid LB but not DE. He had a better shuttle and powerball toss than Eli Brown at the Nike Sparq. At 6"1 205 he is as big as any of the top LB in the state. Should end up somewhere around 6'2 or 6'3 at 220-230 by graduation. Remember most D1 players will redshirt which will increase their size even more. Eastern Michigan thinks he can be a stud at LB.

Agree, very strong and fast. Looks like a D-1 L/B.

  3. They both had solid defenses, in fact it doesn't appear that there was much difference in the two. It does sound like Dixie has more starters returning on D which IMO gives them the edge going into the season.

The fact Dixie has a very good defense. SK lost their best player. IMO Dixie is the team to beat.
