Uhhhh, you know they have lost 2 games right? And yeah I saw the grin smiley, but still. Now you know why!
Wasn't meant to be taken serious... at all. I wouldn't even know where to begin putting the all-star team together.

I put that out there thinking you'd finish the quote!

Wow! That's just not right!
So do you feel the "mercy rule" in baseball/softball isn't right either?

Listen now, Mr. Kansas Lawdog...
you know you're my boy!

I feel that if the 2nd/3rd string is in and you can't stop them...that's not running up the score. Those kids deserve to get to play "real" football too.

Very good point. It's sometimes a different ball game when you have a target on your back.
Pendleton County will indeed be a very tough out come March. A lot of returning talent, and I personally think having a court-savvy, experienced, steady point guard goes a long way in the postseason. Monroe provides all that and a little bit more for the Wildcats.
I give Montgomery County an edge, but PC isn't far behind.
I agree 100%

I'm the type that always picks with my head over my heart. Problem is, I know nothing of either team except what you can find in newspaper articles and/or the Riehards website, so going with the head is useless.
So, since all I have is the heart, I'll go with my Polar Bears.

Gotcha! Put Larry down for a yes.
Did he ever answer the question??

I know you were looking forward to tracking the pursuit as much as I was.
I was....hopefully she recovers well and has a great college career.

Two good schools that are better than their record show... I honestly don't know who to go with here.

Leatherneck-
Thank you and you are correct in why we scheduled Highlands- not just for the playoffs but to make us better as a team and program for the long haul. We did not play well and that starts with me, the head coach. When I say that, I am not taking anything away from the Blue Birds. They are a GREAT team and one of the best I have seen- ever.
Even after the game, our staff was glad we had taken on the challenge and thought we could use alot from that game to improve. I still believe we have great kids and coaches and that we will fight through this and be better.
Good seeing you Friday night.
Good luck to the Birds the rest of the way.
David Buchanan
Things like this are what make you one of the better coaches - and men in Kentucky HS Football.

For once, my heart and head agree... Bracken in a thriller!

Got to watch her play a couple of times as a freshman & have followed her progression ever since. The #5 rating is not at all surprising. Good size, very versatile & aggressive without forcing much at all.
A friend & I crunched the numbers & felt like she had an outside shot at breaking Walz's all-time Kentucky scoring record.
not now...that conversation was the 1st thing I thought of when I heard about it.

The Polar Bear Express keeps rollin' along...tied the school record for wins in a season with 3, but I doubt this team is finished yet.

New Cath won the title in '84. 12-7 over Ft Knox.
They then lost back to back to Mayfield: 18-8 in '85 and 21-20 in the 2 OT game.
The next year ('87): Danville defeated Mayfield for the AA crown in 1 OT (24-23)
Thanks!

I am a loyal and true lawrence county fan, but i'm also very realistic. I will be pulling for my team from start to finish but I have to say that unless LC plays at their best this week it will be a long ride home. We've got more talent than most people realize and we've definitely got the coaching but injuries and young players have made this team take a little time to really gel together. They just haven't played up to their potential yet and it's sad because it's not from a lack of effort. They are playing hard and fighting for every yard. You all know what I mean. Sometimes it just takes time to come together. They just haven't been consistent defensively or offensively. Hopefully come time for district play we'll start clicking?
Sometimes as a fan you also just have to give the other team props. Perry is a really good team this year. They would be a tough opponent if LC was playing at their best. So if we aren't playing at our best they will expose every weakness we have.
agree 100% I certainly hope our boys are ready!

A win tonight would give them 4 which would be a school record.
