I would really like hearing that Rockcastle County wins and will be pulling for them, but I believe the Knights will be too much. My heart is with Rock but my mind is with LC. Even though this is obviously a different game and Rock is a different team, this game has strong reminders to me of the game Lloyd played against LC. Good luck to both teams.

Do you believe Florida State is better? Just curious, Florida State has obviously been good and impressive at various points of the season. But I do think Washington has been better in terms of who they have beaten as the later part of the season has happened.

Hope to see Ryle win, but I believe Bryan Station does. I think this will be a good game though.

Trinity by a lot.

Unfortunately the basketball season isn’t going to be any less lengthy than last season was in terms of being ready for it to be over.

Final.
Even with not being in the CFP top four, it is my opinion that Washington has the most impressive resume overall. Two big games for them remain before the PAC championship game against Oregon State and Washington State. If Washington wins their last two regular season games, I don’t see how they are left out of the CFP.
As far as other PAC games go, the Civil War rivalry could potentially have some pretty big implications too depending on how some things may shake out.

Michigan can’t “cheat” in This one and still dominates Penn St. When is Franklin going to be on the hot seat? He’ll always be number 2 or 3 in the Big Ten.
Three at best as it currently stands.

That is not correct. Ludlow has won a first round game a few times since 1975. However, this is the first time they have won two playoff games in a season since 1975.
Coach McMillen is doing a great job down there at Ludlow! I truly believe they have a great shot next week against KCD.
Thank you, wasn’t for sure if what I heard was what you said. Either way, that’s awesome for Ludlow. And I agree with you, wouldn’t be surprised at all if they beat KCD, especially as Ludlow has played as the latter part of the season went on.

Big 10 did this, not NCAA.
True and knew that, wasn’t thinking as quickly as my fingers were. The Big Ten is the joke.

That was classic Michigan November football.
Yes it was.

I know it’s obviously by seeding, but at minimum this game should be played as a semifinal. Should be a really good game, a lot of me wants to say CAL wins but Central very well could. Both are teams you don’t want to say will lose. Good luck to both teams.

Felt to me like this was overall more dominant for Michigan than the final score indicates. Good win for them going into Happy Valley. I believe the outcome was likely worse if Michigan chose to pass more in the second half. They ran the ball very well, all three touchdowns were on big runs.

I think the Colonels win by ten points or better. Being home will be another boost for them too. Good luck to both teams.

Mayfield is tough as always but I believe Hensley is enough of a difference maker for LCA to stand out along with other weapons. I think LCA’ should win, good luck to both teams.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t this the first time that Ludlow has advanced past the first round of the playoffs since the year they beat Heath for the state championship in 1975? I heard this from someone I know quite a while back. If so, that’s pretty wild to think about and even a better story about their advancement to the quarterfinals

This was a surprise to me. I thought it would be a close game with Lloyd winning. Congratulations to East Carter on a nice win.

Final.
Searched online and saw a source from the Courier Journal showing last night’s score. Going by the small article, looks like it was closer in the first half and KCD took more control after halftime.

If we can't have a handshake line after a game, we are failing in sports.
I totally agree.

I had not seen Cooper until tonight. I think the way they looked tonight they have the talent to win 5A.
When the season first began, I thought Cooper had a solid chance. As the season went on, Highlands became a totally different team. I believe that the 5A state champion will be one of the two possibly now after how Cooper beat Scott County tonight.

I thought Dixie might have been somewhat close early on in the game. Very impressive win Highlands! I know I said this earlier on in the season, but Highlands truly hasn’t been the same team that they were since losing to Covington Catholic. It’s almost like a beast awakened within them, because they have gradually improved each game since then.

Surprised at this, figured it could have went either way but expected a much closer margin. Congratulations to Sayre.

I know that, was just asking my question to see what people think about who’s better between Washington and Florida State.
