  1. Oxnard, you make a valid point, but, based upon the statistics given by Bear3, Bowling Green is pretty good on the road.

All in all, the winner of this game will come down to a combination of things (how the team travels, condition of the field, health and focus of the players, etc.)

As a former BG resident, I'm rooting for them, even though they're in the opposite region than my home team

  2. Looking at the practical side, who would pay for the neutral site (whether college or high school field)? Also, the concessions would probably be lost and the opportunity for increased revenue for the host school would be lost.

IMO, part of the allure of the playoffs is the travel to a different location for the game. I have some pretty neat memories of the trips to away games with my kids and hopefully they have the same sort of memories.

Not sayiing it's wrong to suggest new things, but I think just because somebody else does something a certain way doesn't necessarily mean everybody should do it that way. JMO

  3. Congrats to the Male team!!!

As for the detractors of this honor, this poll is like any other...subject to bias and individual evaluation. Given that, be happy for the team(s) that are recognized. If you have a complaint with the poll, start your own and rank the teams as YOU see fit.
