Track The NL Central Champion Reds (Week 9)
Patrick Starr replied to LRCW's topic in Major League Baseball (MLB)
I guess I over estimated the Reds. They will be lucky to go 2-8 now, and they might be in 4th place when they return home. -

You were saying? The Reds just aren't that good as you'll see over the next 10 games. -

I'm going to go ahead and call a 2-8 roadtrip for the Reds. They come limping home in 3rd place 5.5 games behind the Cardinals and 3 games behind the Brewers. -

It's time once again for all the Reds fans to gripe and complain about their so called ace. I expect we'll see another 5 inning 100 plus pitches game from Volquez. Who is going to be their long man tonight since Lecure pitched last night? -

Well what else can you call it? This might be the biggest choke job ever. That's some manager you have there. -

Another impressive win for the Reds minus the defense in the 8th. I say tomorrow is the real test. Can they beat their old nemesis Chris Carpenter. He hasn't been the same pitcher so far this year but I say he will still master the Reds. -

Nice comeback win for the Reds last night. I saw where that was the 9th game the Cardinals bullpen has blown already. I look for Cueto to get rocked today. I read where several Cardinals have great stats against him and I think he'll be a nervous wreck as he faces a team that wants to hurt him. -

Big series coming up for the Reds and Cardinals. The Reds get lucky and miss the Cardinals best pitcher. I see the Cardinals sweeping and having a 4.5 game lead when they leave Cincinnati. -

How are you being interrogated? I said I didn't see the game so I was asking questions to see what happened and make sense of it. Nobody is making you answer the questions. -

I didn't see the game but I would imagine he might have been saying that if Stubbs had gotten his glove on the ball that it wouldn't have had the force to bounce into the stands. Would it have had he touched the ball? -

Well I'm back after spending almost two weeks in the hospital over a spider bite. The Reds are really struggling. Is it time to give Chapman a shot at the rotation? I expect Wood to get roughed up again today. Have other teams finally figured him and Leake out? -

Patrick Starr replied to oldrambler's topic in National Football League (NFL)
Why did Baker switch his lineup from last night. His team scores 7 runs and he changes the lineup. I don't get that. This offense tongit is awful. Hermida is terrible. I guess the Reds are destined for .500 or less this year. -
Track the NL Central Champion Reds (Week 4) Part 2
Patrick Starr replied to LRCW's topic in Major League Baseball (MLB)
My point is he got upset over my post for some reason so he decided to bring up something negative about my team. My post wasn't even negative about the Reds. It was simply pointing out how tight the division was. As far as a plrediction goes I think Leake gets rocked. Too many things going on outside baseball with him. -

No you made it personal by saying I have bigger issues. This is a Reds thread, this thread has nothing to do with the team I follow. Feel free to post it in the Dodgers thread. -

First of all I just made a post that showed just how tight the NL Central was. Not sure why you're upset over that. Secondly, I have no issues. I am retired father of two, grandfather of four that is financially secure. -

Looks like there will be a 4 way tie for 1st ( Reds, Brewers, Cards and Cubs) with the Pirates 1GB and the Astros 2GB. Some division. -

In other news Bobby Knight just tweeted that all 3 haven't gone to class this semester. I'm kidding of course. Don't want to get in trouble.
