Elly is starting to gain confidence playing in the NDD program, with her starting to play up to her potential I think NDD could be a tough team to play in the regionals. NDD has some good talent in their program.

She played most of 3 quarters and the start of the 4th. She is a very special talent that comes along every so often. Too bad she did so well against the Lady Cougars. Panda do know who won the ND/NCC J V game?

It was a good game with Conner pulling it out in the end winning by one. The game was played at Dixie and was the first semi final of the JV tournament. Conner will play the winner of ND and NCC Sunday at Dixie, start time is 2 pm.

Conner is working on building and gaining confidence. They have won 3 games in a row with a decent win over St. Patricks on Monday eve by 13. First game this year they had 4 four girls in double figures (Fisher 16, Castleberry 13, Scott and Pluto both sophmores each had 10). I think if they work hard this week in practice and believe they can play with Ryle then maybe they can make a game of it. Ryle obviously has much more experience and superior talent at this point but starnger things have happened. Coach Stamm is doing a great job and it appears the girls are coming together. A lot of under classmen are gaining valuable experience and I think Conner may rebound sooner than some think. I wish the best to Ryle and thier girls!

You call yourself a fan and then put down the kids. If your tired of wayching them get drilled then stay away. My response is to your comment about NO oyher girls could play or start in region 9 and again that is wrong. By the way I believe Boone is 1 and 2 and have been drilled themselves a couple od times so far. Boone is great program with a great coach. I wiah them the best.

Conner's JV squad has beaten St. Henry and Ryle. I obviously would agree that Ryle and NDA at the varisty level is superior. But I question your knowledge putting Boone in that catagory, w/o Moss Boone is no better than Conner and certainly does not have the TALENT or the depth Conner will have. Also again your staement was no one could start for other region 9 teams which is completely off base. Coach Stamm is a great coach and I predict conner will be very competitive in years to come.

Accurate, based on what? Have you and rebel seen these girls play over a period of time and have you seen all of the region 9 teams play? A braod statement was made about kids who try their best and it is not fair to sell them short. Conner will win some games and they do have a core group of talented girls. I also wish them the very best!!!

The statement made was no other player could start for ANY other 9th region team. That I do no think is fair and most difinatley inaccurate. In terms of impact players I would agree on that point but let's be real how many impact players are on each team. In no way do I feel coach Stamm has anything to do with their 0 and 3 start. he does have like any other new coach a lot of various challenges and will need time to work through those challenges. To state that Conner's players are not good is simply not fair. That is all I am trying to say.

Conner has a very nice group of sophmores and i dont think you are being fair saying they do not have players that could start in other programs. Coach Stamm does have his work cut out but these girls work hard and will get better. As many as 4 sophmores are playing a lot and will gain key varsity experience. They also have been playing for many years together winning several chamnpionships. Their JV is 3/1 and their best player was in foul trouble most of the game they lost. I am sure they have players who could start for other teams in region 9 and they will start to win some games.

Conner played yesterday at Henry County against Carrol County, despite a lot of injuries (Dawn Peacock, Sidney Watts and Ellerie Krig -out for the season) and missing other girls they played pretty good. Coach Stamm and his assistants coched very well and really had the girls playing agressive on both ends of the floor. Toria Fisher, Chelsea Castleberry and Amanda Ray lead the team. Sophmore Jordan Scott started and plyed well and the team at one time had 3 to 4 sophmores playing at the same time. The sophmores played very well (Emily Pluto, Samatha Porter, Margo Gedding and starter Jordan Scott). They won three out of the four quarters played. All the girls did well and it was a good start to the new season.

Coach Stamm has made a positive impact immediately. The girls like him and have responded playing very well in the Cooper camp. It's early but they are getting off to a great start!

Conner wins the Camp avenging the OT loss to ST Pat. The girls looked good and coach Stamm did a great job. Conner might surprise a few people this year!

Conner won both games last night beating Gallatin Co and Carroll Co. So far they have won all thier games.

Conner has won all of the games so far. Coach Stamm seems to be well liked early on and the girls have had fun over the lasy few days. Go Conner!
