On the 8th grade boys side, Turkeyfoot beat Twenhofel for the fourth time this season! :dancingpa They advance to the semi-finals tomorrow night at 6:30 at Campbell county middle school. They will face either Gray or Ockerman.

Sorry I didn't get back on to post the location. The game was at Twenhofel last night. Turkeyfoot won by 7 or 8. Next week should be interesting.

I wouldn't count out Turkeyfoot for the 8th grade final. They beat Twenhofel on Tuesday night in OT and play them again tonight. The coach still struggles with putting the right players on the court, but the boys seem to be able to work through it and pull out wins in spite of the coach.

Each area, lexington, Nky, Wky and Louisville submit crew(s) to do games at the state tournament. The KHSAA select the crews, keeping in mind that crews can't referee games involving teams from their area. I don't think this is a good way to select the referees since the WKY crews don't have the experience of refereeing high quality games on a consistent basis.
