I heard from one of the players that UC was there last week. UK and others will be there this week for spring ball.

Having not seen Dixie play much over the past five years it is hard to see what Dixie should be doing year in and year out. Is it consensus that they are perennial underachievers or are the expectations greater than the talent level????

When you are a singularly-focused team and you lose that primary focal point you're not going to be as good.

I think too many people are counting out Ryle. Of course it hurts to lose a stud like Elliott. They still have weapons and will compete for 6A.

I saw this kid's knee from a fairly close distance. This was the worst knee injuries I have ever seen. Best wishes to that young man on his recovery.

That was just a guess. I know he's a good O-line coach, so I was just assuming that's what he'd be doing there.

According to the kids, he'll be going back to Ryle. He did good things at PC and I think for the most parts the kids understand why he's making the move.

PC will be looking for a new head coach. Teegarden resigned on Monday.

May 3rd or 4th? I had heard that they're not even starting the interview process until after state testing. I guess I heard wrong.

This game was a lot closer than the final score indicates. Ludlow was actually winning this game at halftime 6 to 0. Then in the second half Ludlow had a few big defensive penalties on Pendleton County's opening drive in the second half, and then the Ludlow offense continued with turnover problems in the second half that has really hurt them the last few weeks.

The only reason it was close in the 1st half is because PC, for whatever reason, played just about their worst half of football that they have played all year. PC got it together in the 2nd half and were just too much for Ludlow to handle.

I went to a lake in Southern Ohio this past Saturday. I didn't see much, a few ducks and a group of geese.

Who wins and why? I'll take PC by a few TDs.

I'm very impressed with SK's o-line. They get my vote.
