1st half running clock for Cooper. 

Ryle started slow but easily pulled away. Big test next week at Highlands. 

40-0 Ryle going into half. 

5 years since Ryle has won a playoff game. Is that correct?  If so, I can’t see that going over very well there for very much longer. A school like Ryle with the talent they have should be doing more. 

I have no inside information. I was just hoping someone could confirm the rumors when I started this thread.

Kids change schools all the time, for various reasons, were these guys top line football players or something? Not that it matters, sometimes those kids move or change schools too.

Kids do move all of the time, but to think 3 young players just up and move to schools down the road all at the same time is a coincidence, I don't think so.

I have heard that 3 kids have left and enrolled in other schools and that there may be more to follow. Is there any truth to this? If so, what is going on at Cooper?

Boone had a roster full of inexperienced kids last year. If I remember correctly, I think only 2 kids on the entire roster had varsity experience. Next year they should have 20 plus with varsity experience including almost all of the defense back. I'm also hearing that some kids have transferred in from another school in the area and more may be coming. I'm not sure if there's any truth to this rumor. With what Boone has coming back and if there truly are some unhappy kids moving in, I could see them getting to 5 wins.

Impressive! He's a good guy. Kills huge bucks every year and has even been on the cover of a couple of magazines.

Is anyone seeing deer?

Here is the key, coaching staff does a GREAT job recruiting, they are 180 degrees the other way when it comes to in game coaching/adjustments.

Do they though? There's an instate kid tearing it up in Minnesota that would be wearing Blue and White if he'd been given the time of day...

I would say lack of talent at skill positions. The next couple classes coming in have some good talent and I would not scream for changes just yet.

If changes aren’t made soon, some of that talent will be playing elsewhere.

I am going to sneak this in here, I think it is time for a change at Ryle.

Boone County intra-squad scrimmage is Wednesday, April 24 at 7 pm. I suppose that is the same as a spring game. There is a "Meet the Coach" at 6 pm for the parents.

This is actually Thursday.

Any movement on this today? Hearing rumors.

If no one answers either of these questions and denies that it happened, that tells me that a coach was fired or left and a player(s) did quit the team.

A player and a coach left the team. I do not believe either had anything to do with what happened at practice that day.

Well, all I was trying to do was say “coaches argue” and assuming it was nothing more.

Coaches do argue. Kids do fight. Anyone who spends this much time around one another is going to have disagreements. For the people on here spreading rumors that coaches were fighting or that the Ryle coaching staff is having problems, just do not know what they are talking about. As someone who knows multiple Ryle coaches personally, I see them together all of the time.

The real question is “how” are we talking a physical altercations? Big deal. Did some coaches shout at each other? Just another day in a rough office.

Keep trying to do whatever it is you're trying to do. The Ryle coaching staff is a strong group of guys who get along great.

Comical. No coaches fought, no helmets were swung. It's amazing how rumors get spread.

Short week??

What are you talking about. I am sure they practiced Monday. And coach will not make that an excuse if they lose this week. Parents need to trust the process out there the coaching staff does a great job with what they have to work with.

Boone County schools are not allowed to practice on holidays, so yes, it was a short week for all.
