That first year team did not do as well as expected because the teams were divided equally. Had they put the best 11 player on the field it may have had a different outcome. This year the colonel middle school team consists of an all 8th grade team that competes against the large schools and a 7th grade against the small schools. They will definitely have an impact on future colonel teams.
