I don't know Wooten and I'm sure he is a fine man but you can't possible tell me that you think this style of play will ever be successful at Boyd. However, it is nice of you to take a shot at a kid who is doing his best. FWIW, it's difficult to get back on defense when your team does play defense. Maybe you should rephrase your statement to "he doesn't get back to watch the other team score."

Well they could start by guarding someone. How about not playing a style that nobody outside of Elliott Co. has been able to have success with (see last years Greenup team for a recent example). Why take a lesser talented team and increase the number of possessions? The Shriners Circus is held every year at Summit Junior High, I say one circus is enough.

Then why try and play a style that creates more possesions? No offense to Ashland but they just lost by 43 so obviously they are not that good and Boyd gets waxed by them. It's going to be a long year.

I just got in from the Ashland/Boyd Co. game and all I can honestly say that I have no earthly idea what Boyd is trying to accomplish. A proud tradition established by guys like Frank Lee, Adrian Black, Greg Fugate, and Antonio Owens has been turned into a circus act.
