Final
Huh??????
-
I don't think we can sell CCH short yet. Boyle and CCH would be a battle.
I agree but they do it two different ways...i like Cov Caths offense and i like Boyle on defense..
-
I agree....I hope they have no trouble 'stepping up' their level of play against Elder.....I'm not worried about them being ready for COV Cath next week.
Cov Cath will make the defense work for everything..I just dont think they can stop Highlands...Cov Cath will need to score at least 48 to have a chance to win.
-
That 35-14 loss is looking better every Friday.:lol:
Different animal than week one...other than Elder you guys are the best team they will see in the regular season.
-
St. X will be lucky to score 10 points in this one....Moeller by 24.....34-10
-
I think its a football?
-
Coaching?
I think it is a little of both...obviously the fact that they have been blown out in the second half of a couple of games could be a coaching issue but also it could be depth to. Making adjustments at half is how you can tell if a team is well coached or not.

anyone seen my shoes?

QUOTE=uk#1fan;4145459]Who do you think wins and why?
New Cath by 4tds....SK wont be able to stop the running game.
-
Game has been moved to Highlands. Same time. 6pm!
Is that due to the rain and Boone playing Cov Cath tomorrow night?
-
Give me a roll call of who will be attending this game.
I will be there!

Without the mistakes by CCH that led to 21-28 fairly easy points, this CCH team is able to play with LaSalle. They showed spurts of being able to run move the ball consistently against them, but would then shoot themselves in the foot. I think on D too many of the youngsters thought due to the size of LaSalle they had to come with the big hit everytime, and didn't wrap the ball carrier. This resulted in several hits at or just past he line of scrimmage, D player bouncing off and LaSalle ends up with 10-15 yd gain. The reality of it is LaSalle was a little bigger, much faster at all positions and used to playing very tough teams week in and week out. This still doesn't mean CCH won't do very well with their Ky schedule.
CCH played a quality team and got beat. I dont think its time to panic. We all know they will need almost a perfect storm for them to beat Highlands and anything can happen when they play. I just think people are quick to jump on CCH because this is the first quality team they have played and it turned out to be Ugly. I still think they are going to be pretty good. Cant measure there success on Lasalle and Highlands but they need a good showing against Boone or they may have a problem.

Trinity by 14.....to much offense.

I think it is plain and simple, Dixie needs a whole new coaching staff. Out coached every week so far. Pike is D1 talent, seems to be very immature. I saw a atory about he is tweets talking trash to Alabama fans already. Come on kid we all want to see you do well dixie fans or not, grow up a little work hard and make NKY proud you have the natural talent to do it. I also agree that if Pike was the QB for HHS he would have looked just as good if not better than Towels last night. I watched the UK game on DVR late night and wow the Cats are going to love having another HHS qb on their team they really need it!! He will have a chance to touch the field next yearfor sure. Here is a question, how many points will Dale score on Pendleton?? I feel sorry for Pendleton being moved to same district as Cov Cath and HHS. What an awful move by the KHSAA there. Dale will put up 100 just because he can.
Come on KJ to say that Pike would look just as good as Towels or better is a little much. I dont disagree that Pike would look better but its obvious that Towels has better foot work, he is faster and his throws are right on. Towels is the better QB regardless what team they play on. Pike is a great athlete but UK is getting the better QB IMO.

I stand corrected...thanks for that. Should be a good one!Trinity has a bye next week. They need to shore up the pass defense big time. Tonight T scored every time they had the ball, except for the game-ending possession with about 2 minutes left and a running clock -
Next week should be a good one. Elder will be the better of the 3 teams they have played so far. The pit is always a tough place to come out of with a win.
-
Would love to see the win but keeping it within 35 would be a win in my book.
-
Sounds like a long year for SK:ohbrother

Highlands over SK this year by 3 to 4 touchdowns if they would play...Simon will struggle to win 5 games this yr.
-
All I can say is SK will knock off Trinity before Highlands does!
Highlands knocked off St. X Ohio....who does Simon have on there resume...and Simon will never come close to beating Trinity in my lifetime.
-
Yea till a Purple Panther ruffles the birdies up.
You are awesome....keep it up!
-
Whats the goal for Simon this yr...make the playoffs......now thats funny....you cracking on a school that has more state titles the last four yrs than Simon has playoff wins. I like the pride you have in your school but Apples and Oranges baby. Keep up the funny post.... Its the only reason i get on Bluegrass preps.
-
Look at this 1 against 100 I stirred the pot with a big stick! Winning!
Thats a first.....someone fromeSimon Kenton winning something. Hey Uk if you want to know what a state championship ring looks like just look just ask someone that graduated the last fours yrs could show you.

I still believe the 7th and the 9th Regions are by far the toughest in the State. Do they win more State Championships? No, but the winnwrs of these Regions have been battle tested and a lot of times, beaten up by the time they make the State Tournament. Hopefully the Lady Breds can get pumped back up and make a serious run. I believe they are as capable as Marion Co., Rockcastle County or Manual of winning it all.
I agree with you shock.....NCC can make a serious run!

That will be the best defense they see the rest of the year...Trinity will roll the rest of the year. They have the two toughest games left at home with Cathedral and Moeller.
