The Church scene was pretty awesome. Rick Grimes has become a very interesting, very Shane like character.

I think Beth will be with Daryl but I don't think Carol will be with them. She didn't want to rejoin the group anyway.

My Dad's best friend impregnated one of his teachers when he was in high school. He survived without any long lasting effects. As someone mentioned early this has been happening for years but now there is easy proof.

4 would probably have to be Reba at this point, just based off of career sucess. That being said I can't stand her voice and would go with either Wynonna or Tanya Tucker.

I all honesty you could list the Highwaymen and be done. I personally like John Prine quite a bit as well. I like George Strait quite a bit but the guy doesn't write any of his stuff so I can't inlcude him.

As many if you know, my wife was diagnosed with Nodular Melanoma about a year ago. She has had 2 surgeries, a skin graft that made her stay off of her feet for 3 weeks so it would take hold, confirmation that it had spread, a lymphedectamy, 3 weeks of tubes, a week stay in the hospital due to an infection that caused cellulitis and 8 months of Interfuron treatment w 4 more to go.

 

The same day that she was diagnosed was the final cuts of our boys' 6th grade bball team. To add more poop to a poopie day, one twin was cut. On top of that they had played one on one in the tryout and the winning twin made the team so both were devastated. One or not making it and the other for thinking that he eliminated his brother. With all that in mind I was pretty emotional and kind of ticked at the coach for facing twins off like that. His explanation was very sincere and I agreed with it. He never would have faced them off if both were forwards or centers, but since they played different positions he felt like it was ok and would bring the best out of both of them. Sound logic in my mind and I had no complaints. He said something very special that day after our conversation that kind of made me take a step back with the craziness going on. He said that he had never experienced such an emotional cut. The one who made it didn't want to join the team without his brother. He knew then that these boys were raised with a lot of love. That made me feel great bc it kind of reaffirmed that we as a family were going to be ok as my wife battled.

 

Fast forward one year, both made a very high level soccer team and now both made the 7th grade bball. My wife can see the light at the end of the tunnel of her treatments and the scans are clear. We are so very blessed and I had to share it bc it is a message board and I don't like talking about this to people I know.

Glad things are looking up for your family. Things like what you guys are going through really put into perspective what is and isn't hard about life and what is and isn't important.

The were supposed to be meeting August Marks after they had the one guy show him the signed statement and threatened to take it to the D.A.. Instead he didn't show and sent a message in a box.

Previews answered that. He's still alive and going to be tortured. Jax's plan is collapsing fast.

Is he dead though.....

I don't think so. He'll be used for leverage against the club.

Juice said he is afraid of dying, so he may try to tell Jax...Would Jax believe Juice if he told him what happened?

Myabe he would but either way I think Juice meets Mr. Mayhem.

It's also much easier to replace a RB than a QB. I really don't like Jameis and think it will bear out that he is a bad guy but every coach in America would handle it pretty much as Fisher has.

Talking with some people at work today we discussed the fact that the car that kidnapped Beth and then drove by last night had a cross in the back window. I'm starting to think there is more to Gabriel than being a coward. He may be working with a group using the church for cover.

The family and I are going to spend Saturday there, leaving sometime Sunday. Who here has been and what should I expect? The online reviews seem to be pretty good, but I'm curious to hear experiences from BGP'ers.

It's really cool but expensive which you already know. I don't know how old your kids are but they push this MagicQuest game pretty hard and it's really expensive as well. We had a good time at the water park, the onsite food wasn't too badly priced but you have plenty of nearby dining options/pizza places. Overall it's a cool place but I seem to remember being more than a little disappointed with the hours of water park being much to short.

A 16 team playoff grabs me. It would put my interest in college football at an all time high.

 

Anyone else? Or do you think 4 is right? 8? Any speculation on how big the controversy for the final four will be this year?

Thinking back on most years, I think 4 will get it right in almost every scenario I can recall. If you expand it too much you run the risk of the regular season being not as important which I think would be detrimental to college football.

I don't think the preacher was working with Terminus but I do think he was a selfish coward that locked out his church members to keep all of the canned goods for himself. What was up with the "That's why we need to make our move soon" comment from Abraham when Michone killed the Zombie?

Any chance Gemma comes clean to save Juice? I also think Nero is really close to figuring out what happened if he didn't already.

Everytime we watch SOA anymore I tell the wife that the national guard would have been called in a long time ago. I agree that the show is getting so violent that it's becoming a shadow of it's former self.
