  1. That's what I was wondering but it looks like Jax will slowly but surely find out the truth. Whether he wants to believe it or not remains to be seen.

The kid didn't plan this out properly though. He's the boy who cried wolf and Gemma can fall back on that before she offs Abel for knowing the truth. I mean, would any of us be surprised if Gemma tried to kill Abel? Daggone it, Abel. You gotta be smarter than that. He can't act in real life or on the show.

    :lol2: :lol2:

I just don't see her killing Abel.

I can't see her killing the kid either. I think Jax figures it out but it's too late for him to take revenge. I believe everyone dies except for Chibs (The Rat), Unser and Gemma. I think in the end when everyone is dead, Unser arrests Gemma for Tera's murder and she spends the rest of her life in jail. Wendy may survive to raise the kids but I'm not sure yet.

  2. Interesting that Centre College is left off of that list. I have a feeling that their ROI is actually tops in KY. Not that it is relevant to this topic, but I just thought I would point it out.

Centre is a great school, the cost of tuition probably keeps that from being true but you may be correct. My point was to defend my alma mater because I think it gets a bit of a bad rap. I've side tracked the thread enough, my apologies.

  3. My grandmother worked for Dixie Chili when she was a teenager and claimed that this is the recipe. It tastes similar but not exactly the same. It is very good though.

    3lbs of ground beef

1 to 1 1/2 medium onions depending on how much you like onion (We only use 1)

    2 quarts of water

1 15oz can of tomato sauce

1 15oz can of tomato paste

2-4 tablespoons of chili powder (Depending on how you like your spice level) I use 3

1/4-1 teaspoon of red pepper (Depending on how you like your spice level) I use the whole teaspoon

    1 teaspoon of cinnamon

    1 teaspoon of worcestershire sauce

    4 bay leafs

1 tablespoon of whole all spice (This needs to be tied up in a cloth bag so that it can be removed after cooking)

1 Chocolate bar or a couple squares of bakers chocolate

Brown the ground beef and onions

Combine all ingredients and cook uncovered for 3-4 hours

    Salt and Pepper to taste

  4. I've had several discussions where I stated my feelings about how degrees from NKU stand up to those from UK and Louisville...but what makes them the best ROI of any public institution?

EKU: In State - $3,960 per semester; $8,724 out of state.

NKU: In State - $4,236 per semester; $8,472 out of state.

UK: In State - $5,232 per semester; $11,367 out of state.

UofL: In State - $5,118 per semester; $12,062 out of state.

I was incorrect it includes all 114 colleges in the state of KY. I must have missed those discussions but I believe an NKU degree is as good as any you'll find in the state.

NKU tops Kentucky college return-on-investment rankings

  5. Yeah, I want my $50 football fee back from 1997 too. Seriously though, I'd love it if NKU would start up a team, they wouldn't be D-1 for a long time if ever but I think it would be a nice product. There are a lot of talented D-2 & 3 level players in the the tri-state that could make them a strong team IMO.

  6. I thought last night's episode was once of the worst in the history of the show. I just don't care about Abraham and even without reading the comics it has been pretty obvious that Eugene was not who he claimed to be. The only solace that I take from last nights episode is that the stupid story line of getting Eugene to Washington D.C. is hopefully over.

  7. I think the percentage would be a lot higher than what you guys are thinking. An average sized human only has to drink 2 beers in an hour or so to be over the legal limit. If you are out at a bar for drinks I believe many people exceed that pace and then drive home. I'm guessing more in the 75-80% range.

  8. I saw an article in the paper today about how polling was off in races all across the nation by 5-10 points from what the final results proved to be. That is interesting and strange. How do you explain that?

I think as land lines continue to go the way of the dinosaur, the accuarcy of polls will continue to decline.

  9. Pretty amazing that the top guy in the House (Boehner) and the probable new top guy in the Senate (McConnell) are only about two hours apart. Good for this area to have two guys in very powerful positions so close.

Yet we will get tolls on the I-75 bridge. Go figure.
