  1. Dalton sucks!! I can't belive he threw two picks and overthrew the deep passes in a big game.

Oh, wait, that was one of the best QB's to ever play the game. It's amazing how even the best can look bad when the offensive line gives you no time. Seattle's defensive line was in his face fast and the corners attacked the wide receivers at the line to disrupt the timing. Just like the Giants did to Brady in their Superbowls. If you get pressure with the front 4-5 guys any QB looks bad.

  2. I may be getting cold hearted as I age and see my taxes be wasted all the time. But, if, without a doubt, eye witnessed by multiple people that someone killed another then I believe a hanging on fountain square the next day should be done. No need to drag it out in courts and waste money. All those on death row costing us millions, put them to sleep now. This opens up the jail space we don't have now when we have to release those arrested due to no space.

  3. Why would we praise MB if Zimmer sucks as a HC?

The point I made over and over again is Zimmer would be better than Marvin. No one can be worse than Marvin. So with MB not getting rid of Marvin and letting Zimmer take the HC job means we are stuck again with a horrible HC. I'd rather give Zimmer a chance here only because it would mean 2 things....we still keep a great defensive coach here and we also get rid of the worst HC in the league. Kill 2 birds with one stone.

So you are saying you are not a fan of Marvin:clap: I know you like to go overboard on this subject and I'm not going to go back and forth with you but you do realize there are a lot of teams in the NFL that would have taken Marvin and the fact he went to the playoffs 4 of last 5 years so I doubt he is the WORST in the league. Not the best for sure, but not the worst.

  4. It's exaggerated. Tickets didn't go on sale to the public until last Thursday I believe. It's not like these teams have had months to buy them and just haven't been able to.

I understand that, but I was just pointing out it's not just a "Bengal" thing and people may realize that if you throw a team like the Packers in the same situation. I think there is no way the local companies let it be blacked out. There was even a report a couple years ago how much Kroger loses when they aren't on TV as people host parties to watch the games.

  5. They should win at home versus SD. Then it will hopefully relieve some pressure when the go to NE knowing they can win in the Playoff's. Brady doesn't lose twice in the same season to too many teams though so while I think it would be a great game, I'm not holding my breath on a win there. When Baltimore won in NE, they ran it down their throats and that's what the Bengals should try to do to hold Brady on the sideline.

  6. Its been four years since my Chargers were in the playoffs. Nobody expected us to be anywhere close this year. What this team lacks in talent (a lot), they make up for in guts. This will be the 3rd meeting for these two teams in 13 months. Hard to beat a team 3 times in that short a span. When we met in San Diego, you ran all over us, and Gates fumbled twice in the red zone (after only two fumbles in his previous 10 seasons), and it was still only 17-10. Since then, some things have been different. We went to Arrowhead and gave them their first home loss of the year (with all starters incidentally). We went into Mile High and gave the Broncos their first home loss of the year. We have Johnson and Ingram back on defense, and you all are missing your LG and C. And while I know that Philip Rivers is not that popular on this board, he is a player's player and in my opinion, the great equalizer here. I have suffered as a Charger fan since 1979 (I was crushed by that loss in 1981), but I think we pull the upset Sunday.

The Bengals did get the unexpected fumbles by Gates. But, they also were the ones who traveled cross country and they won by 7 and took a knee at the 3 or 4 yard line to end the game when they could have scored if needed. Rivers still scares me, especially if Kirkpatrick has to start as he is undisciplined.

I hope the Bengals don't forget to run the ball as much as they can as long as it is working.

    I say Bengals 31-17.

  7. My first time to see Cooper this year. The first half it seemed to me like Cooper was up 15 or so but it would only be 6-8. Bullit East just kept hitting a timely three to keep them in the game. Hathorn had a great block on a run out and smashed the ball against the board. I would have liked to have seen the younger McNeil play as I've heard a lot about him. Hope his injury heals soon. Good game to watch, except for the outcome.

  8. The Bengals are home where they are 6-0 and have scored 40 points each the last three home games. They will win both games and Baltimore will lose both and the Bengals will win the division by three games. Mark it down and I will eat crow with ketchup if I'm wrong.

So many "fans" overreact over a loss that was, as bad as they looked, really only two special teams play. Their worst loss all year was by 11 points. Two of their 5 losses on the road went to overtime.

I just jope they can find a punter that's at least half way decent and someone to be a competent holder on FG's and extra points.

So far it look like I will be 2 for 2 as the Ravens look like crap.

  9. As a side note, I believe he was the back up QB in college to Terry Bradshaw. Seems like I read that somewhere.

As far as fkyw's post, I think everyone is making too many assumptions. We don't know what time period Phil was talking about in regards to the comments about blacks. I'm guessing he wasn't working cotton fields in college. I would guess he was talking about a time period when he was young, middle school or high school. But I'm just guessing as well.

    Bradshaw was his backup.
