Every knowledgable fan and coach can come up with a list from the team they support.

Based on your criteria, I do not think any fan could accurately assess it. I think that coaches that see different combinations in practice and different interactions between players are the only ones who could make this determination.

I hear this little phrase used a lot. Not quite sure how it is measured.

I think "pride" is keeping everyone from overlooking the fact that the Frankfort game took a toll, both mentally and physically. I keep hearing about the vastness of talent but the stats show that BB beat a Frankfort team that shot 22% by one point.

where is Dierig and Roberts for Brossart. IMO they are both very good athletes and could really help this team.

Does this team really need a lot f help? They are having an excellent season. Only one team in the whole state wins the all a tourney.

They're obviously the best "A" School in the 10th Region. And because they go to the region every year they are obviously one of the top 8 teams in the entire region. I guess if they are expected to go to the sweet sixteen then they have underachieved. All I see is success though.

Ouch is right!!! First time I've ever heard someone say this about brossart's coach.

On a flip side I don't understand why people like Indigo's off 75 or the Green Derby in Newport. Both places seem ordinary and while they aren't too expensive, they seem overpriced for what they offer you.

For anyone who has coached. We've all been on the wrong end of a score like this before. More than once. I'm not sure there is anything Coach Flynn could have done to stop this from happening.

Do you think actually having a head coach in the building would have any impact on the program? They would then be able to interact with the student body on a daily basis.

How about eliminating the double bonus? Every shot after the 6th would be a single bonus. This forces teams to make free throws.

Also, how about eliminating the "jump ball" on a blocked shot.

If by majority we simply mean more than half, than yes. I can't imagine any one believing differently.

It was a physical game both ways. Both teams attacked the rim hard and checked/held cutters all night. Grant won because they were better than Simon last night. They won the first game because they were better than Simon. If they win the district title it will be because they are better than Simon. Just like Simon has been better than Grant County for the past ten years or so since they came together in the same district. It was not at all a dirty game and both teams for the most part exhibited good sportsmanship. Too much hate on here today. No need for any side to criticize the other.

Grant county's biggest game of the year is SK.

Nope. It is the 2nd biggest.

Braves were actually down seven at end of first quarter. Hot shooting by Logan Cummins and excellent team defense and rebounding led the charge back. SK shot pretty bad from the FT Line and Grant shot just good enough to hang on. SK could not hit a big three in the fourth quarter despite a few good looks. Grant locks up the #1 seed in district tournament with this win.

 

I can guarantee one one thing, he would get the best and every ounce out of every kid on the team. :thumb:

But there may not be a lot of ounces on the team. I think the issue is the amount of and quality of ounces available rather than whether or not they are giving their best. I suck at alliteration but hopefully you understand where I was going.

To answer your question it is good and bad. Bad because the girls liked him and bought into his system. Good because he didn't go very deep into the bench and now more girls might get a chance to play. He was a nice guy and seemed to know his game, but I think people question his rotations and substitutes.
